*Link’s Journal: Day 7 Continued* When I returned to the King of Red Lions, he suggested that the reason the Master Sword didn’t work against Ganon could be to do with the sages whose prayers give the blade its divine power. He said there were two sages, each inhabiting their own temple to the north and south of our current position, but the opening I’d created by ringing the bell atop the Tower only extended just beyond the grounds of the castle. In hopes that we could find alternate entrances above the water, the King and I marked their places on my sea chart so we can at least check them out. We’re going to stop by Windfall to resupply before heading to the Earth Temple. On our way to Windfall, we got caught in a harsh windstorm. Normally, I’d think nothing of it, but this time I saw someone inside the storm: A large purple frog sitting on one of the thunderclouds, who boldly introduced himself as Syklos. The King and I both remembered that name from the wind shrine back at Dragon Roost Island, and that we should punish him for his mischief if we came across him. A few well-placed arrows were enough to knock some sense into him, at which point he came down, complimented my skills with a bow, and taught me a new set of directions for the Wind Waker that would call on his storm clouds to carry me across the sea. After Syklos flew off, I decided to try out the new arrangement, which sent me and the King of Red Lions flying off from the sea to an island I’d never seen or heard of before. The island felt like a mix of the familiar woods atop Outset Island and the wild forests at the Forest Haven, but what caught me the most was that the place was filled with fairies, practically crawling with them. Before I could fully comprehend my surroundings, a flash of blue light appeared from the center of the small lake the King and I had landed in. When the light faded, I saw a young girl floating above the center of the lake, giving off a faint blue glow. She introduced herself as the Queen of all fairies, and had drawn me here with Syklos’ winds because she’d recognized me from descriptions from the fairies back home, specifically about how I cleared out the forests at Outset enough for the fairies to return to their personal lives. The queen gave her thanks by imbuing my bow with the ability to “freeze the hottest flames, and melt the coldest ice,” before fading away. After summoning another set of clouds to get me and the King of Red Lions off the Fairy Queen’s island, we decided to set anchor at Windfall for resupply before setting off to the temples. *Link’s Journal: Day 8* This has probably been the most eventful resupply run I’ve ever had. To start off, when I got to Windfall Island, I’d gotten a letter from Aryll (Apparently written while she was aboard the Hylia-Madas). True to their word (Never thought I’d ever write that), the crew was treating her well, despite her teasing them whenever she could (her words, not mine) and she decided to update me on how things were going with them. Apparently, Gonzo’s taken up the lead among the crew despite being really upset by Tetra’s disappearance. I’m honestly kind of sad myself, since I could always just tell him where she is, but the nature of everything makes that impossible. Aryll also mentioned that Niko was sad that I couldn’t return to the crew, and it sounds like Aryll took up my former place as the new swabby on her own. It’s so surreal to me that this turn of events actually makes me somewhat happy, especially since one of the reasons I wanted Tetra and her crew off Outset as fast as possible when we first met was because I didn’t want Aryll stowing away to join them in search of adventure on the high seas. Just as I finished reading Aryll’s letter, I noticed a Rito postman fly off from the Auction House with rather ruffled feathers. I’d heard there was a decent living space on the floor above the actual auction hall, so I figured I’d take a look and see what happened. The moment I stepped in, I was stopped by the owner of the house, who seemed to have some kind of grudge against postmen. He then told me about how his daughter had apparently been one of the girls held captive at the Forsaken Fortress, and had brought back a hoard of treasure that allowed her and her father to become rich overnight. Thinking I should at least check on the poor girl (Maggie I think?), I went over and asked her how she was holding up after being imprisoned for so long. She simply stared out the window with a sad, longing look in her eye, and told me how much she missed a boy she’d met and fallen in love with at the Forsaken Fortress. Maggie said that it was him, a guy named Moe, who gave her the treasure hoard as she left the prison island. She then told me that he was one of the Moblins under Ganondorf’s command, and that she’d been sending him love letters since she left but received no word from him… She then handed me a letter to Moe and told me to put it in the postbox for her… I worry about that girl. After sending off Maggie’s letter, I saw a poor man on the street seeing his daughter off as she went into town to earn some money. Apparently, she was also among the prisoners in the Forsaken Fortress, a girl named Mila, and had taken up a job at Zunari’s shop to help her family through financial troubles. However, the man told me that she’s also been sneaking out of her home at night, and he’s starting to worry about her safety. I guess I’m staying on Windfall Island overnight. As it turns out, Mila had been trying to steal from the shop’s safe at night. Apparently her family used to be the wealthiest on Windfall Island, they even owned the same house that Maggie’s father currently has. When Mila was taken by Ganon’s bird, her father spent every bit of their money trying to get her back, so when she finally came home she found herself living in the slums. I managed to talk her out of turning to a life of theft, and she thanked me by handing me a simple glass bottle she found on the shoreline. She mentioned that the bottle was beautiful, and I think I heard her say that she wished her soul were as beautiful… I can’t help feeling bad for her. I just wish there was more I could do to help her than talk her down from the edge of a downward spiral she’d never be able to return from…

*Link’s Journal: Day 9* This morning, I saw the same Rito postman as yesterday heading towards Maggie’s house, likely attempting to deliver whatever reply there was regarding her letter to that Moblin. I got to the house just in time to see the end of an argument between the postman and Maggie’s father. Apparently, the Moblin had actually been trying to send letters back to Maggie this whole time, and her father was turning away the postman every time they were to be delivered. I managed to catch the postman before he left Windfall, and we came to an agreement where I’d deliver the letter in his stead. The stubborn old crone didn’t suspect a thing. I don’t want to even think about the contents of the Moblin’s “romantic” letter to Maggie, as she went and read the thing aloud when I delivered it to her, then gave me a large jewel to “commemorate the anniversary of their love.” I worry about that girl, on so many levels. But there’s more important things to do than think about that, so I finally set off from Windfall afterwards, though I did make sure to stop by to check on Mila first (And slip the jewel in her pocket with a little note to prove it’s a tip). While everything was going on yesterday, the King of Red Lions had been communing with the local fishmen to see if there was any way to enter the temples from the surface. As it turns out, there’s a duo of islands around the sea that could hold clues to entering the temples. Our first stop is an island that’s constantly aflame, and after that is an island surrounded by ice storms. We figured that the Fairy Queen’s enchantments on my bow might be enough to allow me access to the islands long enough to investigate for any leads or items that can get us to the temples. After scouring the elemental islands, I’ve managed to find two artifacts: A set of engraved golden bracelets at the flaming mountain, and a pair of heavy iron boots at the ice-ringed island. The boots, due to their weight, are likely to brace me in place against heavy winds, while the bracelets allowed me to easily lift boulders 10 times my size. These must be the literal keys to the temples, one being Wind and the other Earth. The King of Red Lions and I agreed to seek out the Earth Sage first, since the Earth Temple would be just east of Outset. Sure enough, there was a small island right where the temple is down below, completely deserted except for a single massive stone head. The empowering bracelets made easy work of removing the head and opening the door to the Earth Temple, only for me to be stopped by a stone slab like the one at the Rito Wind Shrine, including conducting directions. When I used the Wind Waker with the engraved directions, I was able to talk to the spirit of the Earth Sage, Laruto, and find out what happened to the Master Sword: Ganondorf had killed the Earth and Wind Sages, thus making it impossible for the blade to maintain its power. According to Laruto’s spirit, I had to find one of her living descendants and conduct them with the directions here to awaken their own latent abilities, which will allow both of us to fully enter the Earth Temple. She said the descendant would have a golden lyre on them. I think I have an idea who it might be. I paid a visit to Dragon Roost Island and, sure enough, Medli was there, playing her golden lyre on a ledge high up the mountainside. She seemed happy to see me alive, at least, having last heard of me from Quill and Komali going off to assist me in the raid on the Forsaken Fortress. Although, Medli did look nervous and a bit sad that Komali had matured so much after his rite of passage only a few days back, apparently using her music practice to distract her from these thoughts. I asked if I could help out at all, and she suggested I conduct her for a bit. On a hunch, partially just wondering what it’d sound like when played, I conducted Medli with the directions from the Earth Temple. When I did, she commented that the song sounded mysterious, then immediately passed out and collapsed. She wasn’t out for long, maybe only a few seconds, but it still shook me. Had she fallen ill and simply hidden it? Did her emotional stress and fatigue catch up to her all at once? _Did the song itself kill her?_ Before I could finish any of those thoughts, Medli’s crimson eyes fluttered open. The Sage Laruto had contacted her through a dream, and told her of her fate as the next Earth Sage. Medli then asked that I take her to the Earth Temple, and that we leave Dragon Roost quickly and quietly. I obliged, and didn’t ask or require any explanation. When we arrived at the Earth Temple, the King of Red Lions warned that the creatures that killed Laruto were likely still in there. I just hope Medli and I can both get through in one piece. The inner Earth Temple was crawling with living corpses and restless spirits. The Master Sword was able to push them back a bit, but the process of fighting them off ended up shattering my shield, leaving me mostly defenseless. This was the point when Medli discovered that the creatures were repulsed by light, which she was able to reflect with the shining gold on her lyre. Luckily, we managed to find a well-preserved metal shield that we could polish to a mirror shine, so Medli wouldn’t need to worry about me when fending off the undead. And just as well, because the innermost sanctum of the temple was inhabited by a legion of ghosts that were able to combine into one being. Killing a massive demon made up of a dozen smaller demons was about as easy as that whole thing sounds. Having exorcised the evil spirits from the Earth Temple, the time had come for Medli, a humble Rito attendant to the dragon Valoo, to fulfill her destiny as the Sage of Earth. Her music was as soothing as always, though the sudden change in the Master Sword when the song finished would’ve suggested otherwise, with its handguard bursting open like a pair of wings. Even though her job was done, Medli decided to stay behind and continue her prayers while I find the new Wind Sage. What am I going to tell Komali?

*Link’s Journal: Day 10* I was able to confirm that the Wind Temple could be accessed from the surface as well, though its entrance was blocked by a statue that constantly blew great gusts of wind. A swift smack with my sledgehammer was enough to break the statue and fully open the entrance. Inside, I saw another set of directions for the Wind Waker, this time allowing me to speak with the spirit of the Wind Sage, a boy in green named Fado. He told me that he was actually a forest spirit, and that the violin he used was passed down by the spirits in service of the Deku Tree. I guess Makar’s going on another adventure. When I got to the Forest Haven, I’d originally planned to ask the Deku Tree where Makar was, but it seems the young Korok had other plans. He’d been hiding in a cave behind a waterfall to secretly practice a new song for next year’s ceremony, but his song was so loud that I could hear him from outside the waterfall. When I told him this, he asked me to conduct him so he could practice more quietly. I obliged, giving him the directions carved into the entrance to the Wind Temple. Makar’s music was about half as energetic as he is himself, which is actually a lot considering Fado’s spirit popped up and started playing himself, right alongside Makar. For just a moment after we finished playing, the waterfall outside sounded like applause from a packed concert hall. After that performance, Makar practically begged me to take him to the Wind Temple. Arriving at the Wind Temple, and fully entering the inner temple, the place was a barren mass of metal and dirt, with the odd wind blowing machine here and there. In fact, the only inhabitants were platoons of Ganon’s forces, though it barely made things any more difficult than they already were, since the temple itself was a tower that had to be navigated and scaled across a maze of metal fencing. The only thing that allowed Makar and I to get through was a strange gadget we found: A gauntlet that housed a steel chain attached to a thick steel arrowhead, which were both affixed with a mechanism that fired off the arrowhead with enough force to embed it fully into any of the few trees that Makar could grow in the dirt. This mechanical grappling hook was hard to use at first, but I was able to adapt to it quickly enough for our purposes, especially when we got to the central sanctum of the temple. The room appeared like just a massive pit filled with sand, though stepping in the sand revealed it had been inhabited by a massive serpentine creature that only fully revealed itself when I grabbed its tongue with the mechanical grappling hook and started attacking it. The serpent then launched itself out of the sand and attempted to swallow me whole on its way down. Thankfully, it didn’t seem to fully realize how trajectories work, so I was able to shuffle out of the way before it got anywhere close to eating me. After that, it was just a matter of getting as many cuts in as I could while avoiding its gaping maw. Frankly, writing it down, it sounds much easier than it actually was. With the serpent eradicated, the sand in the room all drained away, revealing a stone platform in the center of the room, marked with the crest of Hyrule. This served as a much better venue for Makar’s big debut to the gods than a sandy pit would, his cheerful nature put on full display with his music, an aria that easily awoke new energy within the Master Sword, as evidenced by the bright glow its blade now bears. Makar happily declared that, like Medli before him, he would stay in his temple and continue his concert for the gods. I just hope the Deku Tree is able to understand what’s transpired. I don’t even want to think about bearing this news to Makar’s own father. In any case, I can’t be a messenger to the Deku Tree or Komali right now. Now that the Master Sword is at full strength, I _should_ be able to take out Ganondorf. Given how things have gone the last two times I’ve confronted him, I doubt this current plan will be enough to actually get the job done. Hopefully, the King of Red Lions has another set of ancient legends that can help us out, because if he doesn’t, then I’m gonna have to rely on my wits and a sword that, despite its legendary abilities, didn’t actually kill the man who threatens us now, ages after Hyrule was flooded to keep him down… I’ve doubted the existence of the Old Gods for many years now, but given the multitude of supposedly impossible things I’ve seen over the course of the past 2 weeks, I’m starting to think that ancient deities being real isn’t that much of a stretch. As such, if any of them are listening, I pray to you, just this once, that I may be given the courage to defend this world that I’ve come to know and love in these dark days.

By the goddesses, I did not expect the ending of this remake to evoke a similar cinematic quality close to that of your Twilight Princess Dub. Everything was just done so perfectly that it's done right incredible 😁. Hats off to your usage of music for this final chapter, especially towards the end of the story where, if memory serves me correctly, most of the cinematic scenes in the game were originally silent or low-key. My favorite would have to be the addition of a re-orchestrated version of the "Farewell, Hyrule King" theme being utilized during King Daphnes's farewell as Old Hyrule gets flooded. A final shout out to the ZU Choras for doing a phenomenal job not only for this chapter but for the entire project in general. You guys were awesome 👍. The editing was exquisitely done in this finale, you guys did a good job making this feel like I'm watching a film, or a story-driven series. You have no idea how pleased I was at the beginning of this video when you guys incorporated and highlighted the events of Ocarina Of Time into this story. It's a very clever and fitting way to tie this version of your WW project with your OOT Dub, as well as with your Majora's Mask Dub and your TP Dub. It makes the time split feel even more like a connected and cohesive story 😊. Literally everyone who took part dubbing this final chapter did an outstanding job, specifically Caroline Cabal Coniglio, Bell Heart, John Doyle, and Chris Voiceman. The ad-libbing each actor gave helped breath life to the final events of this renowned story, and I think they did it justice by doing so 😉. Caroline is now honestly the voice I think of for this version of Link. So much so, I nearly forgot how the original voice sounded like 😅, lol. Her vocal performance during the final battle was expertly done, she honestly knew how to express emotions and energy through her voice. Bell Heart was wonderful in this chapter as well. While Kathy Pfautsch did a fantastic job voicing both Tetra and Zelda in the original project, making the former's personality shine through the latter's more naturally and believably, I liked how Bell tried emulating Corinne Sudberg when Zelda went to join Link in the fight against Ganondorf. Bell also did a beautiful job dubbing the princess's reaction and response ro King Daphnes's words. She gave a sense of desperate hope for the former king of Hyrule in her dialogue, which was handled with the appropriate amount of sentiment and care. A fitting display of the new monarch of Hyrrule forgiving the old one with their being an appreciation and a connection within the royal bloodline 🥲. Chris Voiceman as Ganondorf was literally everything 😁. He honestly had one of the two best vocal performances in this video. I loved how he didn't manipulate or exaggerate his voice to sound intimidating or sinister for the character, he kept the tone to a more grounded level, making him sound more naturally menacing. Those scenes of him cackling in hysterics and being rageful legitimately shook me with how powerful they were. But what was just as powerful were the scenes where Ganondorf showed signs of sentimentality and longing. Chris deserves an award for how he handled dubbing that side of Ganondorf 🏆, I was hanging off from his every word 😄. Making it more apparent that there's more depth to this iconic villain besides being evil and power-hungry, or being possessed by the spirit of Demise. He felt like he's been affected a lot by what transpired after his return to the old lands of Hyrule and genuinely wanted it to be returned to it's former glory. The other spectacular vocal performance that I mentioned being one of the two is of course John Doyle as King Daphnes. He was absolutely incredible in this chapter 😊. The manner in which he voiced The king's lines were honestly what made this final video so cinematic for me. He expressed every emotion that needed to be expressed during the final battle against Ganondorf and King Daphnes's departure. He gave so much weight and drama during his character's confrontation with the former king of Gerudo, which was awesome 😆, and so much humility and bittersweet appreciation during his last lines of dialogue. In my opinion, John's performance is honestly comparable to that of a Broadway actor, and for that I'm grateful for him doing the role of the King of Red Lions/ King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule 👏. Every single voice actor that partook in this remake gave their all in the acting department, and I very much appreciate everything that they had to offer in retelling this story in their own story. Even before seeing this project's blooper reel, I'm sure everyone had a fun time dubbing it 😁. For example, in this video, instead of making it serious or intense, I loved how Jakob Dillon just embraced the whole quirkiness of the Puppet Ganon fight with his dialogue when voicing the enemy. It's even more hilarious when you consider him sounding similar to Ganondorf, but in a more zesty way 😂. It's performances like that that makes me enjoy watching this channel's content purely for what the entertainment given by its participants. You all did a fantastic job with this game. I honestly don't know what other game you could do next. Maybe the other two stories in the Adult Timeline, or perhaps A Link Between Worlds? Or if not that, then you guys could always consider dubbing more manga adaptations of the Legend Of Zelda games. After all, you guys did a swell job dubbing the manga for Link's Awakening, so I don't doubt you guys making lightning strike twice 😌. Whatever choice you make I'm sure you guys won't disappoint with impressing and entertaining your viewers. Can't wait to see what you might do next time, so I'll see you all again until then. Again, fantastic job you guys 😉😄.
