Probably not for long. You can tell they put all the effort and quality control into the little Zenfone, while the Flip is just a minor upgrade from the previous version. Besides, flippy camera used to be key feature of Zenfone phones, but now it's just one of the models. I think that means they are shifting focus away from it... It's only a matter of time before they drop it entirely.

You are on point Dave mentioning the little zenfone 8 getting a lot of the basics right , i think a lot of phone manufacturers have lost the plot in some ways focusing on one or two headline grabbing features . Stuff like having speakers you hear even when you are out in an area where there is some back ground noise is important , having a pretty phone with zero bezels and crappy speakers mostly just for cosmetics at the expense of sturdiness in a drop situation is just not common sense. If you have ever tried to have a phone call in a noisy shopping centre using a phone with commonly very average speakers ...... good luck with that . Convenience features like the headphone jack , sd card , also important , good to see the little zen at least has a headphone jack . If the Zen came in a full sized wide body phone it would be on my shopping list, an SD card would have been nice to though . .

Dear Dave, The minimalist intro then straightaway with the content make this channel stand out. Like 2 second logo followed by that iconic “ookay” and BAM!! the content…no bullshit. Thanks for keeping this format. Since you’re exploring a new setup, 1. You may need to have several color options for the table so that the devices you are reviewing can stand out. 2. It would be great if viewers can have a glimpse on the devices in the background while you are freestyling. 3. The occasional zoom in on the devices with the right choice of table color will be spot on especially with your soothing voice in the background. 4. A little bit brighter lightings should be okay. Congrats on the new studio. I’ve watched your channel for years because YOU are entertaining. I use an iPhone and don’t a computer, I don’t see that changing. All these androids and computer you review don’t phase me. That said I feel like you have a new wide lens you record with OR you’ve been working out more. I can see some justification for leaving it out, but an SD slot in the Zenfone 8 would have made it damn near perfect. As it is, it's still one of the best phones available, even 4 months after this video came out. I'd take it over anything form Samsung or Apple, easily. I currently rock a Zenfone 6 still, with the original flip. It's great. I love the flip feature a lot. Just for fun things like actual high quality panorama shots it's fun. But size matters, and I really want to get back to smaller phones. Ideally, I'd take something sized like the original iPhone SE. 5 inches diagonal is plenty.

The only thing that hinders me of buying a phone wihtout a storage expansion slot, is that the 128GB, 256GB.... models cost as much as they would with the feature implemented.
