Man, this was so ridiculously useful. I just started playing it today, and other than it being one of the most charming gaming experiences I ever had, it was also super confusing to figure out the combat. This taught me a lot and I feel more confidant going in, thank you!

Melee looks much better than Range I was watching the range combat and it looked like a joke.

I like that they prevent attack spamming, but it does prevent actual skilled attack chaining. Like if you're actually fit enough and trained enough to be attacking fast in a realistic way and the game is giving you 0 Dps, kinda sucks. In Blade and Sorcery, sure you can just wobble the sword at the enemy's face and it'll slice him to a million pieces lol, but you can also do a wushu spin and attack 4 times within one second so the game would just detect that as 0 DPS that kinda sucks indeed.

Boneshatter: (LV3) -- An Empowered Bonk, that is on a cooldown, can be used at any time. It adds to the Stagger bar, making it a great opener. ... I like to Boneshatter, then Slash, Slash, Bonk... They are almost always Staggered after that combo. then Slash, Slash, Horizontal Slash, to do Defender's Crest (the basic AOE), This will give you a shield. When the mob un-Staggers, Boneshatter again, and slash, slash, bonk... and if the level of the mob isnt too high you can keep them stunlocked. ... The crossed swords is much easier to use than trying to directly block an attack.

Yah that's a good combo but I haven't actually seen any shields generated by the horizontal attack so I think it is bugged for me. That's true about the blocking but if you block with one sword, you can still attack with the other, for an extra hit, then once the block is over, your blocked sword is charged for another hit

Im at level 6 now, but I dont seem to have gotten the Avenger's Arc, which seems like an Empowered Defenders Crest, but acts as a AOE Direct Damage/DoT/Slow ... maybe they found that was too powerful?

There isn't currently but I would be very surprised if they don't add that in the future. The game still has a lot of updates planned for it at this time. There's also a third class that's going to be released soon and I would imagine it's going to be a bow user

You're going to have to build up muscle, best bet is drunk water and stretch beforehand. I went through the same thing with Until You Fall and it'll get easier in a day or two.

They said that "both mages and sword masters will be able to be tanks, DPS, and support. Its all in the build." So you should be fine if you want to play tank.
