Zenyatta is a perfect example of an incredibly well-managed racehorse. Retired well past racing prime completely sound. Massive winner, but never over-raced. Trained to almost perfection with owners that would not allow a false (or potentially damaging) step. I understand she's a fantastic Mom and has always been a very friendly and kind animal. lekkki1 I'm so thankful that the Mosses didn't push her too hard or too fast.She's such a big girl,it would have been all too easy for her to break down.I saw Ruffian's fatal match race and couldn't bring myself to watch another real-time race until American Pharoah's stretch run in the Belmont.If only all racehorses-well,ANY horses!-could be so fortunate in their owners...

This is an awesome video. Thank you to whoever got this idea to share w/ everyone what it actually FEELS like to be on such a unique horse -- so tall, w/ beautiful lean neck, alert ears, w/ such a long stride, that she is able to come up from behind and overtake another talented race horse in full gallop, with no apparent increase in speed. I always wanted to breeze a race horse. Now I feel like I have ridden the best!

She's a powerhouse - at 3:50 listen especially after Smith says "ok you can turn me loose" - Zenyatta accelerating to begin the work sounds like a supersonic jet taking off. Zendayatta you are shaking it up Heaven she loved to take selfies; she loved tobe on spotlight! She lovedto beat the boys on Horse raxe! She is a champion! She leaves behind ponies; she had already retired she was living in a farm when an accident occured; she felt back wards broke her back ; she died instantly on the apot!
