Np. I would have love to do more comparison since it’s the only way to know something is better or worst. If anything, audio reviews without direct comparison within a short time frame is inaccurate due to our poor audio memory. That said there are not many high end portable amp this days. Maybe only two more beyond those I own that I know of that competes in this price bracket

Iems usually much more marginal difference then headphones. But the real reason really is if I was to try every permutation and comparison, it will take significantly more time haha.

I actually did try. Mass kobo is more on the airier open sound type. This one has a tighter warmer mids. If it’s Hyper SS mode for C9ii, they are close in signature

It does bypass. Based on test, there is a totally different impedence. You can actually try plugging headphones and earphones in line out mode (with vol control activated) and it sounds totally wonky

@ some say it’s not good for the amplifier during to the impendece differences. I personally tried and never had issues.

Nice review, I find that c9ii is not as clean compared to tsuranagi v2 but if you’re using headphones hands down c9ii is much more capable with the 3W out. Soundstage wise is huge but lows and highs can be too energetic making the mid not its strong point. I tried it on imanis to make it portable hahahah it works but not great. I was eyeing on L&P EA4 it has 6W out man seriously interesting, hope you get hands on first look of it.

I will likely get the L&P E4 in the future. It’s just released with no demo set available now. I have alot of portable amps. Personally I still like Enleum the best for headphones. IEM for me don’t really need amp. Amps to me make more difference and also holds value better (both monetary and usefulness) longer

I have the same opinion, think Enleum sounds better than Cayin. How do u compare mass kobo 475 with Enleum 23rm? which is better with iems?

Hmmm they sound alittle different. The 475 usually more airy and big. Enleum is a little thicker and more body.
