However, the methods he used to pull people into their courses are one that reeks of manipulation and deception. Fyi, I was NEARLY get scammed by this guy and I was like "Is this truely legit? If yes, I will do it later because I dont have that much money now.." even I have set up that " Shopify" or something but I do not yet pay the sum to remove the restriction to use it. AND I was very lucky that this video is recommended to me before I do anything worse to get scammed. Thanks for doing this great documentary. I actually want to research more about that person but I do not have that good time to do it considering my studies. So moral of the story, do not just blindly follow and pay someone for the sake of finding more side income without doing some research about it. First - Thanks for the great and insightful documentary. Subscribed immediately after watching this. Am gonna check out your other vids too. Second - I love how pretty much ALL the ads when I watched this were the very same type of 'gurus' promising riches (whether its via property, or bitcoin, or whatever). Whether by accident or design, it really juxtaposed well with the documentary itself and made the adverts almost seem like parodies (until you realise its not, which made it even funnier, but I digress....) Finally - so awesome to see such a fantastic documentary/content so well produced by a Malaysian (this is based on an assumption, and solely on the fact that you pronounced 'Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia' so well. If you're actually not Malaysian, I tip my hat off to you sir) If you have the time, and energy, would be fantastic if you made other 'exposes' like this. Maybe 'property gurus'? I know of some that exhibit some of these red flags (i.e. the 'limited' time offer, the hidden messages to 'commit no matter what', etc etc)

This guy was my P.E teacher holy f- I know I'm late but I just realized this We called him Mr Tan back when I was in 5th grade, he was a nice man and was very kind to us, but after he left and became the person he was as of this video was released, we thought it was cool at first, but after watching this video I couldn't believe it. What I felt is Malaysia has turn into a very unhealthy nation. We are among the lowest income GDP for middle class working citizen in South East Asia. There are also a lot of mismatch occupations these days, everyone are not enjoying their jobs, would then turn to quick cash opportunities. A lot of claimed themselves as professionals in photography, digital marketing, stock investment, graphic designs, funnel design, e-commerce, insurance, nutrition consultant from direct selling, financial planning, drop shipping, film making and video editing. However, all are without proper certification, and like you said, many are selling a lifestyle product instead of content. They teach just a niche section of the field which is barely enough for technical jobs like web design and digital marketing. The issue is the majority of these courses focused a lot on closing a deal, rather than sufficient skill to adapt to other platforms. This culture is actually spoiling the creative industry and digital industry, because many of the students are good at closing convincing deals, but only able to deliver an amateurish job. I've warn these guys many times not to over promised, but they disappoint me many times. I'm in the creative industry and I need experts and experienced skill when I'm recommending people to my clients. While on the other hand, some of these students would go on another route, by selling their own courses upon completion, continuing this vicious cycle.
