I'm sure most parents can relate to what your saying. Its hard to understand how pain and suffering have a place in the world the same way love and joy do. Unfortunately, they are as much a part of life as death itself. Don't allow yourself to be ruled by fear, cherish your son. The only solace I find when things like Newtown happen is when I hear songs like this, it reminds me that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human one.
