Same experience here. Configured 70%, went to 87%. Also the charge (after 2 hours) disappeared during the updates. Luckily we can now pay for new upgrades (extra charge, route guide, reverse)

I sense some sarcasm 🤭

@@Hans2183 Just a little. Like you mentioned in your other video, they could have limited it to the new bikes. I'll be missing your zero stories...

Hello Hans, it's the same with my SR / S. It only affects the percentage display when loading. After loading is complete, the percentage value then drops back to the desired value. Just test with 80%. Wait until the process finishes by itself and check the percentage an hour or two later. About 83 or 84% then become the desired 80%. For all electric vehicles, percent is only an estimate based on the voltage.

Well but it didn't do this before on previous firmware. I didn't let it go beyond 83 or 84% SOC but it didn't look like it was gonna stop soon. I bet it would continue up to 100 now. That is not just overshooting but totally ignoring. Also very strange is that my SOC on remote data was fixed at 64 for months after the update and after this test suddenly got updated again. I sold the zero now so can't verify anymore. Anyway new firmware should be around the corner now really. Hopefully including the fixes we've seen in test versions from zero.

Klopt, is sinds v19.
@Hans21833 жыл бұрын

So Zero abandoned customer support completely and now product design and support too...?
@Hans21833 жыл бұрын
I hope they'll still fix it, they probably really didn't have time. They did announce that the new gps, reverse and +10% faster charging are compatible down to the first SRF models so that is good news. And they'll definitely need new firmware to support that.

On my 2020 SRS, it will normally charge past the target by around 10 percent, then quit. The percent then falls back to close to the target. BUT... for periods of weeks or sometimes just a day it will overshoot the target even after levelling out. Im no Zero scientist, but my assumption is this projection of how much overage is needed for it to level correctly is sensitive to some varience in the pack and is randomly more or leas accurate. Perhaps they use only one test point and that cell varies in how fast it sinks current? IDK. It seems like sometimes changing the target causes some recalculation that makes it accurate again but Im not certain.

That drop back is interesting. I didn't have enough time left with mine to check for that but several others describe it that way. Maybe it was all by attention to balance out the cells but then it's still not very well done.

This bike has tons of firmware problems. I connected to the app and created a custom mode then it limited my top speed to 106mph. When I got it “fixed” it now goes past 106 but won’t go 124 top speed only 121 so far
@Hans21832 жыл бұрын
True and those are just the current and discovered ones. Many were resolved already in previous updates.
@Darkfiberke3 жыл бұрын
maybe you have to pay for that option now 🤣
@Hans21833 жыл бұрын
Lol, at some point people would probably pay to get it fixed....
