Christian, I'm having trouble finding the screen you're showing at the 1:00 mark. Any help? I'm using the latest version BTW.

To help anyone using a cnc v3 board you connect the wires to scl and gnd.

Thank you for your wonderful work on Estlcam

Have you considered porting your code to Linux, or releasing the source so that a Linux version could be created by the community? I would love to use these advanced controller features but I run a Linux shop and while it seems to work well enough in Wine for gcode creation, the com port control doesn't seem to work and I don't like relying on a translation layer. Thanks for all your efforts with this software!

Hey Christian - great video. Have been following a lot of Estlcam discussion on the MPCNC forums. Can you tell me what boards Estlcam supports or is optimized for? Thanks!

nice, but where to connect these aligator clips at the other end? do i ned some special usb hardware?
@ChristianKnuell8 жыл бұрын
Hi, Estlcam uses an Arduino UNO or Nano as motion controller. The alligator clip is connected to the probe input (pin digital 6 if the "Estlcam" pin layout is used or pin analog 5 if a "GRBL" compatible layout is selected). The tool is connected to GND. More info: www.estlcam.com

thank you, so, as I am using a Arduino Mega and a Marlin as a firmware of my cnc, I am not able to make this? Thanks again, you do a nice job with that software
@ChristianKnuell8 жыл бұрын
Estlcam requires its own firmware. It also offers an experimental Arduino Mega2560 / Ramps1.4 compatible pin layout - but I'm not sure if this will work with your machine. The probe input pin for this layout would be Aux4 / Pin17.

is there an english documentation or something about that on your website? I am a bit confused with mixed english/deutsch here... I am using a mostly printed cnc by vicious1.com where I found that its possible to use estlcam, so I this way I found you... but I am very new to cnc machining, I come from 3D printing industry :) sorry for dumb questions and thanks for reply :)

Hi, im having problem with the measurement output from estlcam to my mpcnc. I inserted a 50mmx50mm box to estlcam from autocad dxf file, eastcam software shows it as 50mmx50mm box but when i feed the gcode to my mpcnc the result is larger by 14mm. The ouput box is 64mmx64mm. Hope you can help me with this.
