I used medium threadlocker on this install just for peace of mind. It's a very nice top case. Worth the money. I haven't put the lock cylinder in yet.

Thanks for the video--as usual, very well done (I've used several of your videos for guidance on my AT--e.g., oil change). Does this come with the lock cylinder or do you have to purchase seperately? So far, I've done the crash bars (silver H&B), wind deflectors, tank pads, center stand and the honda 35L plastic top case. Now upgrading to the honda 42L top case and am thinking about some lights to put on the crash bar; may get the side panniers but not sure they'd get much use. I also have the Givi tank bag, which I like a lot.

Lock cylinder is sold separately.

Thanks for the reply-I got lucky and my top case included a new lock cylinder. Honda Service shop said sometimes they come with the lock cylinder.

Good morning,very nice job. Please did you find a very delicate surface about the top case? I mean to very easy to scratch. Because mine got immediately scratched.

It's raw aluminum so yes it does scratch easily.
