Thank you for this helpful video. One suggestion I can make is that you may wish to let consumers know that they have to install the Cami app before some of these features work. I was initially using my phone's regular camera app, and the tracking etc was not working, so it was initially quite frustrating. Once I got the app installed, things started coming together. @@OttoJulian_ Hello again, Otto. So, my Q3 refused to connect via Bluetooth now. It connected once, but since then, it simply will not connect... I've tried everything I can think of.... I've rebooted my phone and the gimbal, I've cleared phone's memory, I have tried connecting in various orders (phone bluetooth on first, then connection attempted. Bluetooth off, run the Cami app, which prompts Bluetooth...and I've made sure the arm is fully extended and that the swiveling parts are free). Nothing is working. I really don't understand why it worked once, then never again... Would you happen to have any advice before I return the thing? I am quite disappointed, because I really needed it for this weekend...

@@BadMonkeyFinger_Audio Pls check what indicator lights react of your gimbal ? If it's slow flash, pls make sure you pull the vertical arm all up when gimbal is off. If it's fast flash, you can upgrade the firmware via computer to try. If it's green solid, you can press and hold trigger button+MODE button+Photo/Video button at the same time for 2 seconds to reset Bluetooth.

Many things might be happening. Do you have the phone on the gimbal. Is every arm unlocked and free to move ? Did you try to balance the phone before turning the gimbal on ?

My Q3 came in a cardboard box, no case. The Q3 is horrible because it tends to tilt down or somewhat want to spin, when walking and recording. The Smooth Q I got for my previous cell phone, I never had issues.

the case only comes with the Combo version. I haven't had such problems (tilting down, etc), and those usually happen when the phone is on the heavier side

hi, I can't understand your question. When you said "locks in on it" are you talking about the tracking? If so, the tracking on the Q3 was not very consistent and it will depend if the app can determine what it's tracking. For a moving subject such as a train, if it's going too fast it might be challenging

that means that your gimbal is on standby mode. Make sure that you power on your gimbal with the phone on the clamp and properly balanced. Also make sure that nothing is blocking the correct movement of the gimbal.

You can setup a motion lapse but it will have the same effect as the time lapse. There is no A - B movement for regular video

I’m having one query here that I haven’t figured out yet. I want to make all my videos by keeping the mobile in portrait mode. I can do that by triple tapping the back button. But whenever I click in Smart tab in the ZY cami app, the gimbal puts the mobile back into landscape mode which I don’t like. Is it possible to use all the smart features in portrait mode? Also, I do not see any option to do it using joystick. It only allows me to rotate the gimbal, not the mobile (like a wheel).
