Zhiyun Weebill S + Transmount Focus/Zoom Servo: Setup Considerations

I found a continuous aftermarket toothed rubber band much better for the Fuji zoom. The one that came with the follow focus motor seemed to skip a lot but the continuous one doesn’t. And you can turn the wheel as fast as you like and no skipping.

I found that the one supplied with it skipped also. However, once you position the servo properly and lock the gear tightly against the belt, it stopped skipping.

You possibly tried this already. If you pull the knob it can turn freely without turning the screw itself, like a ratchet. It worked on my version, if there are any different at all. Very informative video though, thank you...

bougth one and never used it on any job, the amount of time it takes to mount is considerable but my main issue is just that i cant seem to balance the camera with the focus motor on it.

I too sold mine. Too much work and fiddling for most shoots.

Good day, in the video you have a Fujifilm X-T2. Did the shutter button on the gimbal work for you to start and stop recording? I have an X-H1 and it doesn't work after connecting the camera via USB to the gimbal. Thanks

I don't have the Weebill any more, but I believe the plate came with it. You would have to contact Zhiyun to buy one.

If the 5d will fit on the gimbal, and with the right choice of lens it should work. Longer lenses may make it Impossible to reach the focus ring with the servo. Mirrorless cameras would give you more choices (and less weight!)
