Weebill S: Balancing It, Setting Up the Zoom Motor, & Tweaking It All

The first thing you need to warn the customers/viewers is "Never turn the gimbal on without mounting a camera on and balanced first". Turning the gimbal on without camera or turning it on with locked motors can damage the gimbal. It only takes a few mishaps to damage the gimbal.

I think the same Issue, i didnt understand as well the last axis and the first time that i used this Gimbal the battery got down in only 2 hours, that was so confused to me, then i learned that i didnt okay because i saw your video, please delete this video.

On the 28-75mm Tamron zoom lens the focus ring is actually the back ring. You have the focus wheel on the zoom ring. It's actually really hard to use that lens with the Weebill S.

My weebill s arrived without the 2 in 1 quick release so have no where to connect the focus puller and can find no where on the internet to but it !

OK, now that everything is balanced and I turn "ON" the unit and start using it then I decide to disconnect the camera from the gimbal and use the camera on my mono pod but then decide to reinstall the camera back to the gimbal, would I have to balance everything all over again?

My Weebill S constantly pans to the right when walking in a straight line (push/pull shot), no matter what the settings. I also get horizon drift, and overall, the gimbal rarely returns to centre. I am familiar with calibration, autotune, latest software, and tweaking all the settings, but nothing works. I still own the Crane 2 and never had this issue.

My gimbal is crane 3 it's some problem .....it's mode is changed., Power button 2 times prees it was change the mode and another one time press the button coming the regular mode but

Hey with the Weebill S, when using the zoom motor does the tilt access automatically balance or would it have to be rebalanced after zooming in or out? (Since the lens will come out or retract causing inbalance) 🙏🏽

Yes it should work fine if it’s the motor from the weebill lab. I do not have the one from the crane 2 and that was a different motor, so I do not know. The correct motor would accept USB-C input.

Just got my WEEBILL S today and after updating the software two of the three motors are making wired sounds like they are struggling. Is this odd? I think to return it :(

Before you do, make sure you have perfectly balanced your gimbal. Then run the auto-tune function for motor strength, or select the appropriate strength for your setup. Also try doing a power cycle by powering down, take the batteries out for about 15 seconds, put batteries again and power on. Hopefully this helps out!
