Own one. Test rode it and fell in love. Did a 1000km long trip through Himachal and Uttarakhand. Loved it on the Himalayan twistiest.

do you feel too much vibration as compared to dominar 400 ?

I was looking for a DO IT ALL kind of machine.. did a test drive of Scrambler 400x, fell in love, took it home. It's really a do it all machine. There were some initial issues as I picked from the first few batches (engine stalling, braking issue), but Triump has worked on these and fixed them. I'm more than happy with the purchase.. Thanks to Triumph for launching this machine exactly at the time I wanted it 😅

A fantastic, and perhaps the best video out there on the 400x. Having one on order for a spring delivery, I have watched probably every video made. Fantastic cinematography, logical storyline, and engaging dialogue, given by a guy who can actually push this bike to what it might be capable of makes this just a feast for the 400x fan. Even learned a few new things that I didn’t get from the other hundred videos! Well done!!

Being a pride owner of scrambler 400x i would say all he said is correct ✅ Firstly I thought to buy himi452 but when I saw that bike it looked little oversized and bulkier so then I switched to scrambler and i am really very happy with it ❤

what's the fuel economy like?

@@thekishlayraj in city it gives around 25 to 28 on highway it clocks same like as per your drivability for eg if you are clocking around 80-100kmph then it returns around 30-32 kmpl. Above 100 kmph same as the city mileage 👍

@@maahichoudhary799 how about the vibrations ? 100 to 120 / 110 to 130 ?

The engine is really refined and very few vibration can be felt but I would say they are manageable and much lesser than RE bikes👍

Good review! 👍 I have test driven Scram 400x and Himalayan 450 both! To me, the engine is smoother for Scram 400 compared to Himalayan 450. Ergonomics are better in Himalayan 450, for longer touring compared to Scram 400 (hands slump a bit more while riding Scram 400x, compared to Himalayan 450 but seemingly wider handlebar in Scram 400 compensate the shortcoming to considerable extent). Wind blast on Scram 400 at or beyond 100 kmph are a bit of concern which is lesser a concern on Himalayan 450. I found Scram 400 much better in maneuvering in close corners / city drives compared to Himalayan 450 (19" front is the beautiful secrete for this). Mileage (kmpl) doesn’t seem to be much divergent to each other. I found the weight distribution of Scrambler 400 along its geomatrical mean(s), much precise, compared to Himalayan 450 as the later feels too "top heavy" and bulky compared to the former. To take Himalayan 450 off stand and push a bit is a considerable task whereas Scram 400 seems to be easily manageable regarding this aspect (though they are hardly 10-11 kg away from each other). I find, a beautiful bike called Scram 400 lacking on following 2 issues 👇 1) absence of proper luggage/ saddle set up for long touring (if pillion is accompanying, as in my case, the space may be too squeezed for the luggage it seems). The problem gets enlarged due to too upswept exaust!!🤨 2) fuel tank capacity is poor for long tours (I think, only 10-11 ltr may be usable out of total capacity which may give lesser than 300 km range). I want to submit here that those bothering too much about vibrations must be adjusted to them as, single cylinder set up has to have some vibrations at some particular speeds. If vibrations bother you too much, then just consider shifting to twin cylinder motorcycles! Period!!🫤 Still, I am not able to find proper saddle set up for Scram 400 which may carry 6-7 days belonging for long touring. Triump's offering for saddle set up is laughable at the most.🫤 Being just on the wrong side of 55, I need to consider necessary aspects for keeping up my biking soujorn of 35 years plus (starting from Yezdi 250, going on with Suzuki Shogun, RE Bullet 350, Himalayan 411 at last). Few tidbits mentioned above are stopping me from Scram 400x, at least, at present!😊

This bike feels like a better Himalayan than the new 450. It has gorgeous low-end performance, but doesn't compromise on the top-end either. Ergos are a nice balance of comfortable and sporty, and the suspension set-up makes it incredibly agile in traffic. Upgraded to the Scrambler from a Himalayan 411, and I haven't looked back ever since!

@@pitchwife7573 at 120km per hr we start getting wind blast, so we must need to put some wind shield in order to drive at 120 for long time. So 100 km per her is best in this bike all day because engine is very refined and u get very little wind blast. I am planning to get a good wind shield for my bike.

I'm a Thai person. I'm choosing between Vstrom 250 sx and Triumph Scrambler 400x. The price of both models is almost the same in Thailand. I need a motorcycle to go to work 3-4 times a week, a distance of about 80 km (160 km round trip). It is mainly on road riding. I like vstrom 250 in term of mileage efficiency and may has a lower maintanance cost. Which model is better about the suspension for long distance riding on a Highway and/ a bad road. My weight is 90 kilograms. - Which model do you recommend between vstrom sx and scrambler 400x?

Speed vibrares like hell and doesnot put down all 40 horses down. X went a tooth less in front and the cruising speeds put on a highway are 90-100 kmph. X440 is a better at munching miles than speed.

Based on their capabilities, I am fully confused between this Triumph 400x and the Duke 390. I do not do off-roads or trails, so the off-roading capabilities are irrelevant to me. I am looking for a smooth engine which can do super congested traffic rides as well as occasional inter-states long highway runs without leaving my hands and bum buzzing. And my confusion continues.
@sanketjain93204 ай бұрын
400x has a v.wide handlebar that would bea n issue on congested city rides fi you want to do those frequently. While the Duke gives you adjustable suspension that you can make v.comfortable! Its compact and narrow too. Checkout the svartpilen 401 as well, esp if you're decently tall. It's the same bike with a lot more space.

Feeling proud to be owner, it really fun to drive because it is very easy to manage thsi 186kg bike everywhere because of it excellent weight management.
