Great Video. I'm just now getting into Alcohol inks. Mainly because I'm in Hawaii and I can't do big regular acrylic pours here. You're my Fav! I will give you Kudo's on my channel when I get good enough to do a video with ink.

Beautiful! Loving the texture from the varnish stroke. Also loved that you used dots with the “trees.” It softens them up quite a bit...which I love with the softness of Alc Ink.

@@ziminoart7889 Thank you. I have a heat gun but it smells so bad when it gets hot. I checked on the Artemio heat gun on Amazon and found similar ones to yours but they didn't have a way to lower the heat. I just ordered a small travel hairdryer with a lower speed so my ink won't be splattered all over the paper or canvas. My last one blew up. LOL I will let you know how it works.

This was absolutely AMAZING to watch!!! I'm so taken by your artistic visions and what you create with them. Maybe as I continue to watch you, it might rub off on me?!! Hopeful :-) :-) Thank you so much. May I ask: What does the Acrylic Varnish (Gloss) do to the canvas after applying? Is it to preserve it? Or is it a Primer? I've never heard of it.
@marcelledaigle6364 жыл бұрын
I have a feeling that it is probably to give a smoother finish to the canvas to allow a better flow for the inks maybe?
@ziminoart78894 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words and it make me so happy that you take you time to watch my videos. the varnish closes down to the canvas so it doesn't sink in and it gives a better flow to your ink 👍
@Mollyjean20144 жыл бұрын
Do you have a plan of what artwork you’re going to video or do you just wing it? Are you ever worried about the colors getting muddy? Do you think spray varnish would be just as effective on canvas? Are you going to resin this? This piece is very cool!
@ziminoart78894 жыл бұрын
Hi Karyn I plan color choices and surface and a little idea of how it should end, but it rarely ends as I thought lol No that I am not worried about. if you use spray paint you have to do it several times, i prefer to brush it on. i don't think i will close it with resin. Wish you a wonderful weekend

Hi Suzy I use a applicator from Ranger ink, a small stamp where there is a small cushion on when you drip color or alcohol on and press it down on the painting then it creates structure in the surface
