castor Troy deadlights are it’s true form, but the human mind can not comprehend it’s true form, so their brain comes up with a giant spider like creature. But if they do look at the true deadlights, which are in ITs abdomen, they will be driven to insanity, Stan saw its true form but because he ran and Henry stared at them he couldn’t break gaze, Stan however wasn’t driven to insanity but seeing ITs true form caused him to commit suicide because death was more comforting than having to see IT again.

Plus in the remake Its logic may have been just to use Henry rather than all three like in the book and miniseries so Henry killed Vic and Belch. In It chapter 2 when It frees Henry from the psych ward Henry as an adult stabs the abusive orderly Koontz and another guard rather than It killing Koontz as well.
