I love your tutorial!! Everything is very easy to understand & I love how you went step by step & explained each ingredients! I will definitely try out your recipe!! All the others tutorials went to fast & didn’t explain each ingredients & what amount to put in exactly so it was very confusing! Keep up the great work and I’ll definitely try your other recipes too!! 💕💕💕💕👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😁😁😁

Have you ever made your dough the night before and store it? Just wondering if you would be able too?
@ZoeyandVFam2 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes you can definitely do that. Just make sure the dough is either in a bag tied tightly or in a closed container so the dough does not dry out.

Can I use coconut cream?
@ZoeyandVFam2 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes you can. Depending on type you may need to add extra water, very little. I prefer regular coconut milk so my sesame balls are not too strong in coconut taste.

If I make this recipe at night would it still be good tomorrow morning?
@ZoeyandVFam2 жыл бұрын
I recommend prepping and rolling out all the balls then refrigerate. Fry morning of.

Approximately how many sesame balls are you able to make with this recipe? Would u say 1 or 2 batches of I want to fill a full size aluminum tray? Appreciate your reply thanks
@ZoeyandVFam4 жыл бұрын
Recipe makes about 40-50 sesame balls with filling depending on how you size the balls. I made 48 balls with this recipe using the cookie scoop. 2 batch should fill an aluminum tray just to top level otherwise 3 batch.

Zoey and VFam that’s a pretty good amount for 1 batch! Will definitely try your recipe. Thanks for replying..

Does these sesame balls stay crispy or do they deflate after a while?
@ZoeyandVFam4 жыл бұрын
They stay crispy for the day, if covered/wrap well they stay crispy longer til the next day. They don’t deflate, they will have dents if not all areas are cook til golden brown so make sure entire sesame ball is cook throughly til golden brown.

Aww that give me hope. I've made it once and deflates when it cooled down. I will have to try this recipe then. Thank you

I tried this recipe and the sesame balls were not crispy. They deflated, soft, and soggy. I wish it was crispy as noted in the description.
@ZoeyandVFam3 жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry yours didn’t turn out. They should have a crisp when bitting into. If they deflate and is soggy it could be they weren’t fried long enough.

Sister why is my dough so sticky after I took it out from the bag? What could I have possibly done wrong?
@ZoeyandVFam4 жыл бұрын
Was your water too hot (the water that’s added towards the end of kneading dough)? It should be warm only. Could be you added more water than what you needed. You can add a little more potatoes flakes and glutinous rice flour (not rice flour).
@maileeyang7434 жыл бұрын
Zoey and VFam what can I add to keep my balls cripsy?
@ZoeyandVFam4 жыл бұрын
You can try adding a little more rice flour which will add more of a crunch but not to much or your sesame balls may be tough to chew.

Zoey and VFam,can i use mashed sweet potato(not dry)
@ZoeyandVFam4 жыл бұрын
You can use regular russet potatoes. I have not tried the sweet kind but I’m sure you can. Steam it or microwave so it’s soft like mash potatoes. You’ll need to add less water so knead the dough and add a little of warm water at a time to get a good consistency of the dough.
