I always mix colours when I need to :D but if it’s avoidable I think it seems difficult to beginners. I do need to stress at some point how easy it is to mix colours and make more if you run out. Thanks dude :)

I do find it weird that he’s purple. I like my orcs green, but I like following the artwork and a purple guy will look cool on the board :-)

On your question about commentary or music: I prefer your channel over all the others because of the excellence of your commentary. I wouldn't want to lose any of it to some generic music.

Oh thanks Stephen! That was my plan with the commentary, I feel like trying to convey as much information as I can during the videos - I dislike music in videos and noticed everyone does it. I only asked because sometimes it’s hard to talk none stop and feel I run out of things to say in the longer paint sections :D

i'm currently still painting mini's for star wars legion. Mostly expansions. And next project will be painting some expansuions for runewars miniature game. So green horde will be shoved hehind the painting line ;)

Nicely done! (see, no 'quite' involved - lol) NOW ON TO THE BUNNY!!! I agree about green orcs. Personally I painted my goblin runners in a lite blue tint & toyed with giving the orc necro a purple wash (as if he tried to dye his skin) ... this did NOT work out, word to the wise. The purple will definitely stand out on the board though.

Thank you Rafael. I think it will work well, it'll give you a much stronger contrast, but it won't look as "clean". Personally, I think it'll look great, and much better at a distance - i.e. how far away we play at the table.

Watch It Paint It yes, I got it wrong. Yes some music in the commentary pauses would be good. Other wise you could have sounds of battle etc, that are relevant to the character.

Next time for skin, try mixing grey with a touch of purple, and then apply a purple wash.

I would have done if his skin was darker in the art work. I didn’t want him to be any darker than my base coat in this instance

I did it and matched the art work pretty spot on-- but I may have access to lighter greys than you.

I also think your way would be quicker too, higher contrast as well which makes it a lot easier to see the detail at a distance

I do not :-( It is a game on my radar though, something I'd like to add to the channel. I think as my Patreon grows in support we will vote on a game to add (buy) for the channel every so often, that seems like a good way to add new games for us.

i hardly ever highlight my mini's. With work,family and life i just don't have the time. For me tabletop ready is good enough. And most zombicide mini's are small aswel and way to many in numbers hehe :D

That’s my feeling as well. That’s why I try and point it out from time to time. Basecoat and highlight is pretty good enough for a lot. Off camera I rush a lot more, I still always do highlights but I won’t put the effort in on the hordes like I do when I’m trying to show how to paint them properly. And even then life, work and family is too much to get any games finished....I probably shouldn’t have added youtube to the mix :D I need a beer

1.5 hours long, I would enjoy that, you don't have to talk that much, just make sure you don't fill it with horrible music with a preference for no music. But yes, you really don't need to talk as much or at least as fast as you are in this video, you could be more relaxed in explaining what you are doing and longer videos would allow this.
