Afternoon John! Fantastic shave went really well. Absolutely love PAA Cavendish definitely in my top 10 soaps beautiful scent it’s a winner! Haven’t tried Zomchi razors yet but sound and perform really well by looks of it have a great rest of the week and take care of yourself 🙂🙌👍🏻

Talking of handles, I cleaned my 6C handle and top-cap in vinegar before scrubbing them. Now the thread has failed on the top-cap, and the handle cannot screw onto the top-cap.

John - I like those Zomchi blades. I purchased the Zomchi “Noble Blue” DE razor from Amazon back in April ‘24 and it came with 100 of those blades deal for less than 20$. I find that both the “Noble Blue” Zomchi DE razor and the Zomchi blades perform very well 🎉🪒 I enjoy your channel 🎉 Thanks for sharing your wet shaving info - God Bless! ✝️🕊️

Loved this shave John. Everytime you use that soap i say i need to get it lol. Im a pipe smoker anyway, so i no id love it. Razor was rather nice looking as well. My own shave was my king c gillette with a derby blade. And Ariana & evans peach and cognac soap and after shave. With nivea cooling balm to close. Oh and enjoying a coffee from a local coffee house here. A lovely bourbon and pecan coffee. Just delicious. Have a great rest of the week

Nice shave John! Cavendish is a great scent! One of the best pipe tobacco scents there is. I won't even use other products after I put the splash on so I don't change the scent in any way 😀👌 I've said this before but, keep an eye out for Ciderhouse Five by PAA over there. It's cider and tobacco together (along with some other notes) Definitely one of my favorite "autumn" scents 👍 My last SOTD: Stirling Noir soap, splash, and balm, Stirling SS razor ST plate with a Voskhod blade, and the RazoRock Snowman brush. PAA has a soap called Porthos that is an Aramis clone. Powerful stuff!

Once again you did okay. PAA's CK-1 soap is excellent. I never could understand why it was discontinued. I guess it came down to profit margins. BTW, you didn't say much about those Zomchi "Superior" Platinum blades. Those REX blades you like so much are only platinum 🤔 As an aside, Stirling Soap Company re-released their "British Leather" soap and splash today. I've already sent in my order and got their synthetic brush and coffee mug while I was at it. Stirling soaps are the best bargain out there. 5.8 ounces for $10 less than PAA's CK-6. I agree with everything you say Bart lol, I'm a huge Stirling fan, on the blades, the zomchi are fantastic, but the rex blades feel smoother to me, but on value alone zomchi wins...... 30 blades for free!!!! 😍 😍 😍, have a terrific week bart 😎👍🏻😂😂😁🙏🙏

Got that razor for the wife she felt it was too aggressive for her mustache 😂 anyways I tried it on my face and got her a different razor, and I was shocked how well it shaved. Now it’s one of my travel razors.

As a former pipe smoker, I have always believed that PAA Cavendish is the most accurate scent re-creation of pipe smoke in this hobby. No disrespect to other pipe tobacco scents, of which there are many fine ones, but the PAA is just spot on.
