I started watching old movies from the 50's to 70's and one thing I learnt is that back then, the movies had no special effects. it was the talent and good story lines that made it special. They did not have the technology of today. But, movies today rely solely on special effects. That's it. No story, no talent, Just special effects.

Yeah maybe choose what you watch abit better. Stop going for low budget films. But you know what i found works pretty well. Watching on a old tv. Not talking about one of them tvs that took up a whole corner of the house lol. Just like a tv thats 20 years old. These new tv’s are so clear that every thing looks like sets. You can pick out all cgi and mistakes and things they forgot to remove

By this time, Deadpool x Wolverine is out. Frankly, I'm Marveled out and will wait for this one on video, which should be NEXT week. So, the movie season is dead, like all the crap on this preview list. Get this, they made another Aliens movie and STILL are thrusting ships when they should be braking. I thought they finally figured that crap out with 6 seasons of The Expanse but NO.

Ya know...Rob Peace makes a valid point. When a family member is arrested for a murder they didn't commit, it really does end childhood. I was also 8 when it happened. And my brother was on Death Row for nearly 30 years until it was recently abolished in our state. Then he was transferred to life in prison. I still remember the prosecutor winking at me, knowing full well who I was, as he was tearing my world apart.

The best movies these days are remakes... and they're not very good. The best music these days uses the riffs from old Zeppelin or Aerosmith... and it's not very good. The best politicians aren't politicians... and it's not very likely that they'll be allowed to win their elections. We're witnessing either the last few feet in the fall of civilization, or the moment just before it takes its last defiant deep breath that gives it the strength to fight on another 100yrs. A movie about Elon Musk building a Space Ark... not THAT would be a blockbuster today! God Bless.

I love sci-fi horror and I really, really, REALLY love Alien. But, this film I'm sorry to say, does not attract me. I want the story to evolve, be more about the question of the origin of mankind, the inventors and the horrible things they do, have done will do or try to do in their attempts to eradicate the human race.
