A poster on another channel pointed out that at 4:55 when Monasterio pulls out his saber, Diego raises the poker to parry him --- and quickly corrects himself. As Diego, he's not supposed to know about fencing. Monasterio is too busy thinking how to torture Garcia to notice. Lovely bit of character acting. Wonder who thought it up?

Well, we go from last episode Zorro trying to be careful not to speak much in front of his dad to this. Guess he figured Alejandro was bad off enough to not figure it out now. Though aside from plot reasons, I'm still trying to figure out why Diego didn't go back as Diego to the cave. That's what he told his dad he would do. What was he going to do or say as Zorro returning? But of course it worked out very well and he could go save him from silly Monasterio. Man, that guy is a jerk. I like how at the end he is so upset, he doesn't even know what to do to all of them, so he just leaves.
