When you tested the square wave the meter was set to AC, not sure if it would make a difference if set to DC? The internal generator seems to put out a 1KHz so might not show this issue that well. Also like Bob said .. the probes in the test, really surprised that it actually worked. Overall for the price I really like this meter. For quick measurements of dc/dc convertor issues and audio stuff it will certainly help out. Haven't looked if I can actually hook up the scope side to the 230V mains.

Hi, with the probe at 10X you can work with 230V to analyze the sine wave, thus I don't recomend it unless you really know what you're doing. If I'm not wrong, you can go up to 400V on the oscilloscope part. Thanks for watching.

@TechCornerTV I put multimeter probes into the power point while connected to oscilloscope function to measure and look at the sinewave. It works well but I haven't tried this on the ZOYI zt 702s but on my graphing multimeter! As you said on 1:1 probe setup is 40 volt pk-pk? So on ×10 on probes you can measure 240 volt AC? I'm glad you mentioned that and I finally found your tutorial. Because I saw 150 volts pk-pk Max on website, but 40v pk-pk on ×1 on probe. Any reply appreciated cheers from Australia subbed and liked 👍

I am so sorry and thank you to let me know.... there is so many things going on that sometimes I am a bit distracted, no excuse though, I really sorry for this... thanks again for watching!

Hi Markus, Sorry the late reply, kind of short in time to answer these days. I think I saw that also somewhere in time, but I don't retain this things... thanks for remind me. It is a very nice device, for me just needed a bit more bw, because in terms of quality itself (finishing, etc) is really good. Thanks for watching.

Good morning. My name is Marco and I'm Brazilian Your video is very good. I have a question: This ZT702S device, with the oscilloscope function, can I connect it to a computer for measurements, making the computer screen the oscilloscope screen? Another question: can I measure 1mV scale, as I use a lot of load cells? Thanks
@TechCornerTV6 ай бұрын
Hi Marco, no, you can't. That functionality exists in desktop oscilloscopes, but not all of them have it. Rigol for example allow you to do that, but can't say of all other brands, you can do that for example with the Zeeweii DSO2512G ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5mXpGdjd7loY5o ) and also with the DSO1511 also from Zeeweii that have an AV output, I think that in the small factor those are the ones. Thanks for watching.

but isn't it the main question to get this or a decent multimeter and a scope with more bandwith ? You had shown a lot of offers and a usual unity multimeter and a osci might do the job even better for a tiny bit more like 90 or 100€

Hi, first and foremost, sorry the late reply, time is really short here for replying. You brought out a very good and valid point. I think the added value is less space in your field toolkit, but with that comes also a lot of limitation, like the bw. As in everything, it's a tradeoff. I review yesterday the Zeeweii DSO3D12 that it is a similiar solution, but keeps the bw at 120Mhz, it migh shake the market a bit. Thanks for watching.

Surprised you didn't REL on the 10R. Woulda been nice if you shorted the leads before testing low values. I find that cleaning the tips of any manufacturing coatings can help on low R measurements & continuity. My Zoyi came with a bad battery. 😒 It would not charge.

square clock waveform is reasonable, because of the bandwidth limitation.

Hello, I just bought the ZT-702S for my association "Repair Café" in France. I have a big doubt about the thermometer. It points to 90C° when I immerse the probe in a pot of boiling water and indicates 17C° in a room at 22C°. In addition, the analog display does not work in thermometer mode. It always displays 0, even when the digital display is at 90C°. Since I do not see how to calibrate it, I wonder if a software update would solve this issue. I have a V1.03.55. However, the instruction manual does not make any reference to the update. I wonder how to find the update and how to process it. Knowing this issue with the thermometer, I also have doubt with the other mesurements : V, A, R.... Do you have a tip please ? As you say that you received it from Zoyi, maybe you have a special contact with them. Thank you very much.

@TechCornerTV10 ай бұрын
HI, never tested a ANENG product, have here the 683 smart multimeter to test, but regarding this Aneng AOS02 it seems to be the same device, just rebranded, BSIDE also has the same model. Right now it seems to be removed from AliExpress, couldn't find it there using the model code. Thanks for watching.

What does in the memory depth mean?
@TechCornerTV Жыл бұрын
Hi Larry, let me see if I can give you a clear explanation and don't say anything wrong 😁 memory depth is related also with sampling rate, that is the capacity of the oscilloscope to take samples of the analyzed signal, higher the sampling rate, more samples per second can take, better is the displayed signal. The memory depth is the memory were you can store that samples being captured, so more memory is always better, since you can store more samples and you can analyze bigger portions of your signal. When the sampling rate is higher, normally you will need also bigger memory (depth) to store the samples captured. So there's the relation between the two. Hope it helped, but if anyone else wants to correct or add something, please don't be shy and go ahead! Thanks for watching.
