These drawings could EASILY be the style of a famous artist, not even kidding. It actually looks pretty cool.

I was briefly an art teacher, and I always stressed learning to SEE to my students, because I remember in college the first time someone actually had me LOOK at the colors of a cloud and it made a huuuuuge impact in my ability to see. Eventually, I plan on making videos around this topic because I ALSO think this is a really under-explained area that is so, so crucial to artistic success. Love your blind contour drawings-haven't done these in a while but now I kind of want to! They're always so joyous in the end result. =>.

these are contour drawings! in class we bring in jackets and clothing and just throw them on the desks or counters and just draw them in this style. normally we look at our paper to make sure the proportions are a little more accurate, but there’s no prep with it. these are so fun i would recommend this is an artist of any level

this is a whole art style just by itself. i love it.

I did this once in a figure drawing class and everyone was just dead eyes on this naked dude. like we were in a circle full of intense starring for a good fifteen minutes. the guy was obviously so uncomfortable with everyone’s eyes were locked on him

omg hahaha. Life drawing/figure drawing is such a wild concept in general but I love them

You are literally the coolest and most creative. I adore this idea and I’m so excited to try it myself, both as a practise and as a way to maybe spice up the compositions in my art journal, I love the way they turn out, they look pretty darn unique (also the earring people part, TOTALLY AGREE)

re drawing men with beards: yeeeeees! they're so fun to draw, and i've pretty much switched over from female to male portraits since discovering this. i love drawing hair, and they're basically an excuse to draw even ~more~ hair that usual lmao.
