Goodbye frustration, thank you, Yana! I had no clue about the papers part in this. I happen to have the Simmon Says 130# Mega White paper. I am so appreciative. Many thanks!

Yes! I was clueless that paper mattered until some experimenting. Glad this helped ❤

Love will be hot foiling today I like to do a bunch at a time then I put in old envelopes so they don’t get scratched. Beautiful cards as usual. I got the 130 and have had good success with it but you just have to keel trying getting better every time I do it. I do love the results.

Accomplished a miracle with the acetate foiling in my book. Acetate is not the easiest to work with even if all things went well. Even if it was cut perfectly it is so easy to scratch or smudge. But yours look great. Question; have you ever tried a laminator for foiling on acetate? ( also I didn’t even know SSS had 130 pd cardstock! So I’ll give that a whirl!). Thanks Yana for being fearless with acetate!

Lovely cards & Glimmer foil collection Yana, love it all!!! Thanks for sharing your tips on placing the names of the foil on the interior of the rolls as well as the acetate & card stock you like to use for foiling! I appreciate you & your creativity!!! Stay well, blessings!!!

I'm new to the Glimmer Foil system and have learned lots of tips and tricks here on KZbin. One thing you mentioned is the color name on the Spellbinder packaging. They may have changed their system because I received a roll of foil with the current Hot Foil Glimmer Plate club set and the foil is labeled GLP 026. It does not show a color name. I've gone through the website and cannot find that # so I have no idea what color it is if I want to order more of it. Thanks for your tutorials. They really help!
@Yana.Smakula2 жыл бұрын
It could be a new exclusive color. Or could be one that was previously only sold as part of a 2 or 4 pack. I'd give it time, they will most likely add it to the website at some point

@@Yana.Smakula thanks, the label is over another label and I think it might have been part of a "kit" release. Thanks again.

Yana, they are all beautiful! I do have a question, though. Do you have a video showing diecutting the acetate after it has been foiled? Thanks, a bunch!!
@Yana.Smakula3 жыл бұрын
thank you, Sue. No, I don't a video for that. Acetate is usually hard to cut, I find I can only cut basic shapes from acetate, nothing detailed can be cut. Vellum is much easier to cut, but vellum never foils well. At least not for me.

Lovely, gorgeous, all that!! I struggled with getting my die not to move once I made my stack (paper, foil and die); I learned from your video to tape it w/washi tape first. Thanks! Again, beautiful cards; I love your work! You've motivated me to pull out my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System again.

Thank you for the video. Now I finally know how to ensure the foiled image is placed exactly where I want it to- wasn’t sure I could tape the foil down to my project. Can’t wait to try the SAS 130lb paper …and receive that same candle hot foil plate I ordered a while back. Beautiful cards !
