Completely serious, I’m pretty sure my Arash has the highest body count of any of my servants. He’s just such a great starter to throw in and clear the first wave if they aren’t Lancers.

Arash is good because he can clear almost all 1st node of any free quest. Leaving you with only 2 nodes to clear. He helps you farm quest easy to a point that even if you don't have any looping servants you can still 3 turn most free quest with aoe servants equip with np charge craft essence.

Whilst we're probably not going to get a wellfare "overcharge by 2 stage" CE, holy moly are there some big boy SSRs for Arash coming on rate-up this year (NA) if you happen to be summoning on those banners anyway: If you were pulling for Kagekiyo (and/or Cu Alter) then you've probably got a Thumbelina, which gives 10/15% buster up along with the double overcharge. If you weren't, then there's one in Grail Live (same effect), one in Chaldea Summer Adventure (10/15% NP damage), and one in this year's Halloween event (8/12% buster up AND 10/15% NP damage), all with the double overcharge effect. Special mention for... uh... Rising Mud Rain? Which gets added to the story pool after the 26M DL Campaign (which will be 2024 for NA) - It's basically Black Grail, but reduced to 40/60% NP damage in exchange for the double overcharge.

Since Gong was released, and up until I got Koyans and Oberon, my defacto team was Arash(lv80), aoe buster servant, Gong(lv80), support 50% charger and Merlin. I consistently farmed in 3t and cleared every regular node. Arash and Gong are the BEST f2p units in the entire game.

I don't use Arash much but he's excellent for what he does, charge np and fire it off, clear wave 1 and die. Can be very handy for farming nodes. Habetrot comes out next year (NA) and offers a little more supportive value and more flexibility for CE use and does the same thing (Arash does have lower deployment costs, which can be useful)

I have both chen gong and arash bond level 10 with a future possible 11 since I released it. Now i just skadi loop with either atalante or parvati or valkyrie (i switch between the 2) but when i need more damage to 3 T clear i use chen gong to clear wave 1, berserker fran to clear wave 2 and nuke arjuna to clear wave 3 (with max level chen gong buster buff). Arash lost a bit of spotlight after the introduction of chen gong. I used him all the time before chen gong, now i just use him occasionally and mostly to clear a wave on a specific quest or challenge quest.

I leveled him up for story reasons, but I really haven't used him like, at all. Farming nodes I just spammed Berserkers and more recently, SpIshtar +double Castoria cuz I got blessed on he anniversary. Still, glad he got an animation update, completely deserved.

Arash is still good especially for weaker/new accounts. Because anyone with a battery and strong np is valuable when your resources are limited. He's disgustingly cheap to level. Him and Spartacus were like the fundamental budget farming comp for a long time. But he's limited value nowadays for stronger accounts. But those stronger accounts will have Arash at bond 10+ so that should tell you how useful he has been. Gong is a better version in my opinion but ONLY if you have the ce's+multiple supports to maximise his potential. In most lottery farming Gong lets you carry 6 drop ce's for 3t clears. In general farming Arash is still great. Low cost means you can stick expensive units in the back and farm bond.

I’d say that Arash is a great stepping stone and “break in case of real tough time” servant (I was able to bond 10 him) but I don’t really use him as much because I am that person who is doing 200+ lottos and not only do I think every half second counts but also he tends to take up a lotto CE slot and those are invaluable so I want those 6 CE, no plugsuit, minimal button press comps. All to say, he’s definitely got his uses, but I think after a certain point in account development you just stop bringing him along. Or at least that’s what happened to me, in favor of efficiency

I know he's good at bombing a wave and yes I leveled him up, but the thing is.... I almost never use his NP. First year playing this game I focused on Servants I like and most of the time they're high rarity so I didn't raised Arash yet, and then that scenario in Camelot just.... hit me so much I don't know why, after that I leveled him up and NOT using him or his NP unless absolute necessary.

i prefer arash over gong. problem with chen gong is that he sticks around,arash is gone after doing his thing. unless he's either your primary dps or some weird strat with buster berserk or something, the fact that gong sticks around is a nuisance while arash is a free wave clear

You loop with gong by cycling supports without needing plugsuit. Granted that is not a cheap setup but that's what Gong has over Arash. You can realistically have 6 event drop ce's equipped. So yes you use him as your primary dps farmer for all 3 waves.

Top tier supports are getting fed flames so bond is not getting wasted. In total I have less than 20 SR -SSR servants not at bond 10. It's a lot easier to farm bond nowadays with Bond exp CE stacking in general farming and bond event bonuses but even not carrying bond exp ce's doesn't matter due to the sheer volume of runs I do. And I'm not alone check some streamers accounts out.

level him to 60, max silver fous, max his 3rd skill, max mana loading or bring a 20% charger/mystic code, slap on a devilish bodhisattva he will instantly clear most wave 1 farm nodes. if you dont have devilish bodhi, any 50%+ NP CE works. But he will only do around 24k dmg. still enough for daily farms and most event farms. grail him up a bit if you need a tiny bit more dmg to turn 1 clear your wave. remember to level your CEs too.

his main use is cheap farming, if you already have say...3 aoe servants that can instantly charge your NP through kscopes or self charges or a looping setup, then you probably dont really need arash anymore.

It helps that I got two kscopes, but I'm far from being able to 3-turn a farming node. The closest I can get is the extreme exp stage on the Rider day. Friend SpIshtar and my Cat clear waves 1 and 2, and Ushi (after some farming) nukes wave 3

@@Megawott104 The basic farming comp back in the day was Arash + Spartacus+Waver. You have 2 kscopes which a lot of people didn't have. That's your front line. Arash and spartacus can NP with no help and should take care of most Wave 1-2 nodes in general farming depending on np level/skill level. Arash dies wave1 and your 3rd dps gets swapped in. Buff everyone with with Waver so Spartacus gets the atk buff. Use him for wave2. As long as the 3rd dps have some way to get 50% on their own ie MLB dragons meridian at minimum or a 50% charge skill, Waver should be able to charge to 100% for 3rd wave. For 90++ and event farming you're going to need more specific units. I don't remember the hp values of every extreme node right now but I recall Gil shows up at the archer extreme node at around 200K HP in the final wave so I'd assume it's the same for every extreme node. So final wave is where you need a specific counter.

Pick Waver from the newbie SSR ticket. (I think this is already in NA) Arash and Spartacus will be very useful if you're starting. Do not roll on the Story Banner. Roll the Friend point banner daily 1 once. You are looking to bulk up your roster with 1-3's and get the most important cheap and free craft essence - Dragon's Meridian. You want at least 6 of these. Once you have 6 combine 5 to make a Max limit break version. DO NOT max limit break craft essences unless you have 5. Special limited time events are more important than story. BUT some events require you to complete certain story chapters. There is no event right now so focus on story. Level Euryale. Level Hans. Level Heracles if you have him. Your 6month-1year goal should be 1 aoe and 1 single target of every class (berserker, archer etc etc). Skills are what make or break servants. Not the gold border. Send friend requests to anyone and everyone. Especially whales. You'll get rejected a lot but don't worry most will accept.

simpler advice: do all the events that give free servants, you wont be able to get them any other way and some of them are really useful. Next one is christmas, with santa karna in december. you should be able to figure out the rest on your own over time, but if you miss a free welfare servant thats already on rerun, you wont be able to get them anymore. (for at least 2 years, idk, maybe in the future they'll be re obtainable.) also try to log in every day, even if you dont do anything. the daily free stuff is pretty good.

@@gast321 depends. In the Scatfest lotto 3-1-1 Saber node I used Emiya/Sigurd/Castoria. Emiya NP first wave crit second wave Sigurd NP 3rd wave. Arash actually would have prevented me from critting wave 2. otherwise I have two whales on my friends list with NP5 Spishtars that have KS on them. Castoria+Tamamo+ that clears any 3-3-1 wave.

I don’t think that’s possible, even Ruler Jeanne (one of the highest base hp servants in the game) at lvl 120, with 2k hp fous, and MLB Ideal Holy Kings can only hit slightly over 30k. You could push it with Merlin hero creation to get her over 35k but that’s on a 3 turn cooldown (same for Osakabehime np). Alternatively just grab a KingProtea and wait 10 turns lol

@@maxkim9196 If you dont Have NP damage or an Offensive stat CE at level 60 Arash wont be able to nuke 35+ Enemies. Thats what happens there. He is a great unit but for fresh accounts his uses are limited to clear 1st wave with 35 or less HP (assuming you have some NP damage buff to spare on him.

I haven’t leveled Arash. Mine is on lvl 11 and has been that way since 2019 when I started. I was leveling him and when I hit his np and he died that threw me! I need my servants to be alive so I can shoot more nps. Thats the same reason Jing Ke never got leveled to even 30. Even tho I found out later hers doesn’t kill her just take 1,000 hp. Didn’t matter if your np is causong death on my side of the field you out. Arash sitting over there woth Jing ke, Miyu, and Chen Gong.

So As someone who has been playing for about 2 years and still hasn't leveled Arash, let me explain myself Firstly, I got Gilgamesh pretty early, and he has been my go-to overworked farmer for forever. He was the first servant I got to bond 10, dude hard carried my whole account for a long time. And later I also got Sei, so I'm kinda spoiled by great aoe archers. Secondly, Arash as a character is kinda annoying in my opinion. Yes, I say it as a Gil fan, honk honk 🤡
