I knew a guy who bought an NA1 for about $29k at one point about 20 years ago now. They’re so expensive now I have to consider other cars, particularly newer Porsches, which offer a lot more performance with modern safety features. That’s how I ended up with a 991.2 Carrera T instead.

NSX NA1/NA2 are classic 90s JDM Legends. My dream sportscar. There will always be more faster modern sportscars but it's the visceral/engaging experience.

16/17's look sick. My Dad had a 2000 on OG TE37's back in 2001-2003. 16/17 staggered with ARC Titanium exhaust. Best. Car. Ever.

What a gorgeous car! The styling is head-turningly timeless. As a resident of Vancouver it came as no surprise to see the video filmed in slow motion. Unfortunately that is the reality here where flirting with the speed limit will result in a suspended licence before you can say eh.

It’s so crazy how much the NSX price skyrocketed from 2010 to 2020. I was an unemployed college graduate when these NSX were going for $20k and I couldn’t afford it. Now, that I have stable job and decent money, I can’t afford it now since a good/great condition and low mileage NA1 NA2 can go up to $80-$100K. I guess I have to wait until I’m a senior citizen now to see if the prices come down….

I've read the nominal HP rating on the NSX was low. Japanese manufacturers had an informal agreement for maximum horsepower for models they offered in the 1990s. So manufacturers published rated numbers below the max, even if the real number was higher.

IIRC, that applies to the 3.2L engine but I believe the 3.0L is rated pretty accurately.
