Been watching your videos are you putting the fish in right away? If so are you doing anything special or just letting it run due to the high plantage?

Ive heard some fish like mollies and platys don't do well with this substrate due to the acidity value. any truth to that you know of?

An easy way to rinse sand or gravel might be to use those crawfish cleaning buckets. You hook a garden hose up to it and just let it run until the water is clear.

So what is aquasoil? some sort of rock that leeches stuff into the water? artificial porous stuff that has some chemicals implanted? why should I pay a bunch of money if it's just porous rock?

I was going to ask if that much water agitation was more than the Harlequins prefer, but if you’re incorporating medication that requires it, I guess I can see it. They usually prefer calmer water movement, unless I’m mistaken…

Will the amazon frogbit take over like duckweed? I'd be afraid of it blocking out all the light (i've had duckweed do that before)
