@@werpolska7128 Hmm, it sounds like the ractor might not be running at all. Is the fission controller texture off or on? If it's off, do the cells have their neutron sources activated?

So i was gettig 5k h/t on my reactor and didn't knew the fact that you had to maintain the cells sepparated from Y and X axis (diagonal) and place coolers between them, now i have a -18k h/t with the same materials, thanks for this tutorial. ♥

In case you're still looking for a solution, the "radiation_enabled" config needs to be set to true and the game needs to be restarted.

I spent about 8 hours trying to get this to work on my e2e survival world and another 2 hours on creative. This mod is way too complicated and finicky and at this point all of the few help resources that exist are outdated. If you’re playing a mod pack and considering this mod as an rf option, consider something else cause even if I had gotten it to work it really isn’t worth the struggle.

I love the mod, making an smp about it with some friends. Is there a way to radiate the whole world via command or config or an addon or datapack? I want to make it so you can't escape the radiation thats everywhere

In case you're still looking for the config, it's "radiation_worlds". You need to add the dimension ID (0 for the overworld), followed by an underscore, and then the rad/t rate.

I'm just wondering how do I stop this thing from exploding, here's my circumstance: so me friend and I have built this machine and we're making neutronium fluid, we're done with the machine so we turn the fusion reactor that's powering the magnets off, everything's okay then the magnets lose all charge and the entire thing detonates.

In order to turn the reactor off safely, the plasma needs to be dissipated before power to the electromagnets is cut off.

I've recently gotten into nuclearcraft reactor's throught enigmatica 2 expert and I love how complex, yet understandable it is I've already made a (pretty bad) fission reactor, and I'm now looking into making a fusion reactor chain But the thing is that while I found a google docs for fission fuel, I didn't find one for fusion fuel So I decided to also look into how to make sheets and tables, and I made my own calculator, and I look forward to making it public to see what people think of it. It's still a WIP thought as I've only really made a recipe list; I still need to do the actual calculator. It is also based on the classic version of the mod so I'm not sure if it'll be compatible with the overhaul.

In case you didn't realise, the video you recorded seems to have points where it stutters and jumps. I have no idea what could be causing it though. (Also thanks for making NC, it's easily one of my favourite mods and is often the primary reason I go back to play "older" minecraft versions)

I've been working on a compact 3x3x3 internally sized reactor since anything bigger gets too expensive at the moment, and I can't for the life of me get it to work. Is there a point where a reactor is simply too small to even run? I have two fuel cells inside and have tried multiple different moderator and cooler configurations but it just won't work, number of clusters consistently reads zero as well.

3x3x3 is very small, yeh, just because you can only fit moderator lines of length 1 between cells. Even if you have access to heavy water moderators, that essentially limits you to fuels with a criticality factor of 72 or less if using neutron reflectors, and 36 or less otherwise. It is possible, but your efficiency won't be particularly high.

@@Kkelos It's been a while since I last messed with it, but I think that error means that there's a structural issue rather than a problem with energy or liquid helium. Is the ring definitely a square, and is the controller sitting one block out from the structure (rather than being flush)?

Is the controller melting down or the cells themselves? If it's the controller, that means that the heat in the casing isn't being carried away by water quickly enough.

I'm playing nomifactory (not ceu) and the coolers won't share fluid despite being adjacent. i have a 9x9 reactor that has a quarter of the cooling it should and I don't know what to do. the buffers and the cooler adjacent are full, but none of the other ones are.

It's possible that the pack has the "passive_permeation" config disabled, in which case you'll either need pipes to each of the active coolers or the config set back to true.

@@smooshymemes You can either head into the mods folder, open "nuclearcraft.cfg" and look for "passive_permeation", or head into the Mods page in-game, find NuclearCraft, edit its configs and look for "Passive Permeation" in the Processors category :)

I’m at 250 rad for an unknown reason and tried radaway a whole stack of it my radiation doesn’t go down I’ve used a rad detector and there’s nothing in my chunk and 250 player contamination and I’ve restarted my game

Is your actual rad cound at 250 rads, or is the radiation level 250? If it's the former, how much radiation does it say Radaway should be removing in the tooltip, and if it's the latter, what are the units it displays in the HUD?

@@NuclearCraftModI’m playing crazy craft and this is the only video I could find about radiation so my mods a little different than yours but when I use the Gieger counter it says current chunk 0.0 rads Player contamination 252.9rads player resistance 0.0 I’ve emptied my inventory it didn’t start doing this until I killed a boss.and I’ve used all 3 radaways multiple times.sorry if this is a little confusing

Sorry for the late reply, but the idea is that the hot coolant can then be used to generate steam in a heat exchanger, which is then used in a turbine to generate power.

Hey, i have a question. Every time I try to shutdown the reactor using a lever, the magnet ring keep exploding, why ? Edit : I have my respnse thank you, the reason why it has exploded was because the magnet lost power and the plasma escaped.
