Even their roaches are prettier....the struggle is real.

Around here we have Bombardier Beetles. They basically fart fire. I have never tried to domesticate them, but with some yummy incentives, some taming and the right holster they could be great to deter muggers. You are an artist sir.

In California they were called Pill-Bugs because they could roll into a ball. In the Antipodes, they do not roll into a ball but otherwise look almost identical to the US variety. In my area, there are prehistoric varieties that can get the size of a walnut, they are shiny, dark maroon colour, very beautiful, and they can roll into a ball. They live underground. I am a professional humus manufacturer, and I have what I call 'Slatercities'. These consist of five tonne hand-made compost heaps that are covered with tarpaulins. Under the tarps, the surface of the heaps are sometimes solid grey, a seething mass of slaters. These are what the locals call pill bugs. Lately there are actually billions of them on my heaps, and so I treat them as farm animals. Great camera work, thanks for the tips, and keep up the excellent work, love your voice and humour. Blessings and peace.

Ecologically, rolly pollies process extra soil lead content into their shells. Perhaps the elemental content of the ecosystem is out of whack and the material balance should be amended. Also, perhaps you can add predators to them, or something that processes their poop into something that another competitor can use. Lastly, perhaps you just didn't let it go long enough, for the plants to process all of the poop. Or perhaps you need something that will eat these luscious plants and get eaten by something else, like the ants you're fond of.

Centipedes have only 1 pair of legs per segment. Millipedes have 2. These are millipedes. A polydesmus species to be exact

Kudos bro. you have a way of taking a slow, not so interesting lecture about a terrarium and making it one of the most captivating videos on YT. Very well done. hope you are able to take your talents far and make millions! 💵💵💰💲
