If one thinks they need a truck and one thinks ridgeline they don’t need a truck I saw one of these with a topper on the bed the other day😅 That just turns it into a Pilot Why not just buy a pilot😅

Because the Ridgeline has features the Pilot dosent. I don't think many people make household dump runs with Pilot. We have 2007 Ridgeline in family had for 17yrs. We hold full-sized new washing machine from Lowes in the bed of the Ridgeline. Then hauled the old full-sized washing machine to the dump. Have hauled new apartment size refrigerator in Rigeline bed and small chest freezer. You can't do that in Pilot. You obviously don't understand the Ridgeline. So if your not towing heavy loads constantly or just going in rougher off-roading situation Ridgeline might be good choice. The Ridgeline is beefed up for pickup truck duty it can haul. You buy a Ridgeline if you want a better daily driving or highway travel vehicle. The Ridgeline has the others beat. It's rear seat flat-floor storage space has other midsized pickup trucks beat. I'm buying a 2025 Pilot for myself but the 2007 Ridgeline not going anywhere yet. It has 235,000+ miles on it. But if you wanted to take a 1,000 mile road trip load some luggage of fishing camping gear in pickup truck. You would have much more pleasurable ride in Ridgeline Pickup than competitors Tacoma, Colorado Canyon twins Frontier or Ranger. Now if your towing heavier trailer or doing deep ditches when camping another choice might be better than Ridgeline.

No, it's because it's effin ugly! In addition, they got rid of the "sporty" model. Even the sales people admit it's "fugly". I have a nineteen & kept it because I love it.

I own a 2011 Accord V6 coupe with a manual.... the new Accord is nothing compared to mine. I took the new one out as they were replacing a timing belt and that CVT transmission is garbage. The interior is okay and nice and quiet..... but that engine and transmission are just not good... too weak and that transmission takes a bit before it launches. So.... not a great car

It's the looks. The design peaked with the 10th gen and then for the 11th gen they went backwards. The 10th gen was absolutely stunning inside and out and offered the optional 2.0T

I'll break it down on my end. I'm in a metro area, first of it's a big car, sometimes it's nice but then there's maneuvering around tight crowed spaces & places and then parking spots(you're sitting low). If you're gonna go that big, you might be better off with a cuv/suv. A bit more room and sitting higher. It's a different experience when you can see over the hood. Wife loved the new pilot until she sat in it and couldn't see @5'5". Sat in an odyssey and took it home. Visibility is great all around. She had a 19 accord for 2 years and used a seat cushion for more height.

It's the styling. I love accords but this car looks like a grocery getter. It looks like a grandma car,very close to a old ford taurus. Honda made a sporty 10th gen and now we got this. They need to double down on sporty now to sell sedans. It needs more power and a sportier look to be appealing. It needs to appeal more to enthusiasts. Put the new 300hp v6 honda makes in it. That would sell more.

Honda is cheap. I just got a CRV EX because I didn’t want a hybrid. The EX quality between my 19 civic and the CRV is incredible.

In my opinion, they were way too ahead of their time. With the growing appreciation of Asian culture in the U.S. nowadays Scion could sell to our younger millennials and Gen Z, who would love an affordable and unique "American Kei" car.

A little more power, a little better price , A lot less boring looking, equals more sales. It's not that complicated. I have a Civic touring now , upgrading to a new Camry. Even the new Civic Hybrid isn't as good looking as the 2024 model. Honda has gone to sleep on exterior styling.
