If that tricky boulder 1.23.10 would hit the dumper cabin who will pay fixing the damage?
@norwegianearthmovers4 ай бұрын
Hi!🙋♂️ Thanks for watching the whole video!🙏 Well, the cap is meant for stopping smaller rocks to fall down on the cab, as it did!😅 I have never experienced dropping a rock on the cab though, through my 14 years of solely loading trucks. However, we do have insurance on all equipment, but the company I work for tends to pay for damages themselves, due to very high costs of using the insurance.😄

Hi!🙋♂️ Most of my truckloads ran to a dozer, as the material we moved went used to build a new industrial site!👌 Thanks for watching!🙏

10:20 That quick tool change is something that I seriously wish got adopted more widely in Canada. I've seen it on multiple channels, and makes switching tool or bucket so much quicker. It would be especially useful in my area since it is expected to find rock not too far under ground level. Most construction compagnies keep a rock hammer on site for that purpose. Some contractors just keep two machines on site, one with a bucket, and the other with a rock hammer. The quick change tool is rather useful just by itself with the pincers. I think that part of it is that we do tend to run larger machines in Canada given that we burry our pipes deep, which means that a lot of dirt needs to be moved quickly during a rather short construction season.

It doesn't look like the smaller trucks are designed to carry that type of load. They must not last very long.

Its a really nice machine! My Boss gifted me one and received it this week. Sadly we havent had any work for it this week but so far its awesome. Only downside in my opinion is that you cant convert a lot of knowledge from the older machines. Ran a 314E before, its a whole different world
