Supposedly, starting this game on "hardcore" mode has like a 90% chance for an immediate game over because you died as a child And I think this tidbit speaks for itself

No offense cuz I get why you do it but when nearly 2 minutes of a seven minute video is the theme music it makes playing these videos in a row an absolute nightmare.

Admittedly, there are private servers that still fly the 'fuck about for funsies' flag without shame in TF2, but that can be its own mixed bag.

KCD 2 requires that player has a developed frontal lobe of their brain. It's not definetly a game for everyone. Dopamine soaked button mashers should rather stay away. Also savior schnapps are being available in a dozen, more than in KCD1 (where even I downloaded a mod) Alchemy, lying in your bed saves the game, or the new scummy thing save&exit, so many options except the one where u press F5 twenty times per minute. My point being is that if u still find saving system too hard to do in KCD2, this game ain't for u and I kinda like how unapologetic it is.

Ah the classic, "I refuse to understand the rules of the world, so when I fuck up it's the games fault!" I love ya Yahtzee but sometimes your attitude of every game needing to meet you on your terms has problematic effects on your reviewing abilities.

Even if you don't like a game, you should still give a warning before you spoil the whole first part of the game.

I decided the previous game could fuck off shortly after busting my balls to get a set of EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE plate armor, and then..........finding an unowned set in a box on the side of the road. In good nick. That fit just fine. REALISM! AUTHENTICITY!

I usually hate the idea of playing a first playthrough modded, but Kingdome Come is the one exception where i would recommend playing with the unlimited save system. Once you no longer need to worry about when to save, the game is a lot more fun even with its janky stuff.

This man complains about the things in KCD2 that I criticized in Skyrim and thought KCD1 did miles better.

It never occurred to me until now. But I really like the Dog Mascot as the new NPCs rather than whatever the minions from the previous iteration were. Props to switching up the formula but keeping the same consistent theme all throughout.

I absolutely hate open world games like this. All the annoying crap you list, and many other annoying aspects, make this genre the most boring and pointless in existence

Limited saves make you think more carefully about your decisions. If you want to save scum you need to spend a lot of money. You shouldn’t run into a large bandit camp as an unskilled peasant. The game is very immersive. Also thanks for spoiling the wedding.

Played a decent chunk of the first game, but it just wasn't for me. By all accounts the second is more of the same. I'm more on Yahtzee's side than Nick on this one, it's just a lot of pissing about. I hope Avowed can fill that RPG hole in my hart.

There was a mod from the first game that removed the need for the quick save potions that I hope makes its way into this game. Huge QoL improvement

I didnt last 10 minuets playing the first one with its god awful "realistic" combat, so unfortunately I won't be playing this one either. I just want a medieval action adventure game that isn't souls-like or have shitty combat mechanics (and also isnt skyrim because Ive played that game almost to death).

Disappointing but not surprising to see the game killing bugs are still around. I wanted so badly to like this series but it's just Pretentious Baby Bethesda Bug Fest 2.
