Thank you for a simple, straightforward video of the process! I just finished crocheting a granny stitch sweater and I’ll be doing this🩷

I’ve noticed that when I crochet squares (not granny squares just regular squares using the chain and single crochet) they end up being a bit stiff. Would this method work to make them loosen up or do you know how to loosen it up? I’d really like to not have to start all over since I made so many already 😅

blocking can help relax the stitches and make them drape better but how effectively that works depends on the how tight the stitches were to start with.

Nice sweater! I plan to use towels and don’t find that pins are necessary either. Maybe for more precise finishes.

Ahh thank you for this! Your instructions were easy to follow and I love that you left room for customization! I made one with a granny pentagon as the top, since I had 5 granny square sides, and I LOVE it! :)

What does the file hey send you look like? Is it a complete version with all sizes or with just the size you’re testing? I’m asking because I’m a designer but I haven’t yet tried using testers..

You should make the top square with five point. Making the center 15 double crochet. Instead of the 12 double crochet if using five square .

Hello, I think your blanket turned out beautifully! I have been reading some reviews on the impeccable yarn by loops and threads and some have said that the yarn splits badly. Did you find that to be true? Do you like the yarn? Some also said that it gets real fuzzy. Please let me know. Thanks!

I have a multi-colored sweater that’s 70% acrylic and 30% wool but I would like it to be a lighter color overall, what could I use to do this? I read that bleach will melt the wool

You could do a pentagon for the top of the hat. It makes it easier to match sides.

When a designer asks the test knitters for the amount of yardage they used in making the item, how do you measure? Do you keep track of how much you are using while knitting? Or do you measure the yarn before hand?
