I remember the whole crowd sneaking into parents' bed when little, one by one including the dog. As a young adult if I was sick at my parents', they'd sometimes put me in their bed and it was so relaxing. Admittedly it was great bed and very fluffy pillows and duvet. And my dad is also not the one to show a lot of affection but is very warm person inside, so I can imagine the same could've happened for myself. In the end the parents and their bed is the safety.

Just remember these are going to minimally impact your growth by just a tiny bit overall if you start early. Just having a healthier higher quality life and lead you to growing to your genetic max. There’s a reason why people are so much taller nowadays. It’s simply better living conditions

Nothing unusual at all about wanting to be close to your loved ones after a death! It would have been longer than a week for me.

It's not weird after my mom died when I was 14 years old i also slept in the same bed as my dad and that is how my dad learned that we shared the the same struggles and pain we went through

I know a friend too, after his mom passed away, slept in the same bed that his dad slept in. These are all healing mechanisms as family members. No one wants to be alone when a loved one passes away. No judgement... Only judgement on those who judge what we do as normal humans....

Mike I'm a 41 year old Ukrainian girl and I would never judge you for that. Thank you for being there for your dad. Thank you for all you do to help everyone you can! Please make sure you get more rest than you want. You gotta take good care of you. Schedule more lazy "me & my dog time" weekly please. We need you to make sure you don't get overwhelmed with life's demands. We love you. Спасибо 😉

How on earth could ANYONE judge ANYONE else for doing that?!? 🤔 No way, Jose! I think it was a comfort for both of you, and honestly, a possible necessity to just get through that horrible week.

I think this is an intuitive thing for humans… when my grandparents lost their first born son, my uncle, I slept on their couch and stayed with them for two weeks without thinking. It was a sudden, horrible loss for the whole family. I think our nervous systems just get so overwhelmed with the death of a loved one that we become so vulnerable and need to feel higher levels of closeness with our loved ones to get through it. ❤

It’s not weird. Death is a traumatic thing to go thru. People that say it’s weird haven’t ever lost someone that they are very close with.
