The Soleb inscription dates Judaism to the 15th century. It also has them in the desert being nomads at the correct time. I don't think it's a stretch to say that someone with Moses' background would have written down the Torah.

The conversation about DB Cooper made me think of those conspiracies of people who seem to appear in various historically significant photos throughout time, without appearing to age. At about 49:30 in the video, mentioning people appear and disappear throughout history.

"Adam and Eve were just meant to be Gods buddies" Okay now I cant help but think "Poor God, he just wants some friends who can understand him" No wonder he made us in his image, because like that old saying goes "It is lonely at the top" and who is at the top of all tops? God.

This channel has taught me a lot about the Bible as someone who was never told anything good. I often would walk with my religious friend and talk about what I learned and my thoughts about it all and he'd listen and smile, giving more details and telling stories I didn't know. After a few times, he told me that watching me experience God has reminded him of God's love. He has been becoming jaded, losing faith with everything happening. Seeing my enthusiasm reminded him of his faith before. We've become closer after this and it really brings me peace to know that God loves me. I feel loved every day and I'm thankful

I see on the NASA website where it says eclipse in -1206, Oct 30. In -1207, it's Nov 10. And they're both annular. I tried to verify via Space Engine, which i've used to look at past and future eclipses before, but I suspect the simulation breaks after a certain point and perhaps isn't meant to go 3000 years back like I'm trying to do, so neither of these dates seemed to work, though they were noticeably close.

please stop rushing these with the “gotta get out of here” stuff. More bible reading, less answering dumb questions. You barely made it through the whole story on this one. Kind of disappointed.

The guy who wrote The Message did my commencement speech in 2010. He was an old-ish man. Def a Boomer. I’m pretty sure he wrote it in the 70s or early 80s.

My bad. I just looked it up and guess he wrote it in the early 90s. He’s also deceased, so RIP you glorious lunatic.

I've definitely not watched these in order, but I love these. I grew up in church and went to a Christian school K-2nd & 8th-12th grades. This is notably both more thorough and more comfortable than most lessons, sermons, etc that I've encountered.

I was raised Lutheran and we had real wine. I now go to a nondenominational (mostly baptist) church that does the grape juice thing. Personally I prefer the wine route, however I understand why the grape juice is used instead based on the cultural alcohol problem the USA has. The church does not want to cause one of their members to stumble if that member has struggled with alcohol use in the past.

Chiming in on 28:00 . Most Baptist take the Zwingli approach which says that the bread and wine are just symbols. Some churches would go as far as grape juice and a loaf of bread. Most anti wine Baptist beliefs seem to come from the prohibition.

I can attest to the grape juice thing in the southern baptist tradition here in Missouri in regards to communion. Been raised baptist and there is a very strong aversion in the older generation to any type of drinking. The younger generation is not averse to it they just believe that alcohol can lead to sin if one gets drunk.
