Uperfect for the next one: 500 nits, internal MST hub for proper dual monitor through 1 cable. Displaylink support through an integrated DL5900 or DL7400 chipset is really nice for mac due to it's anemic diaplay capability out of the box. 1 USB-C PD in that pulls in enough power for 3 of these and 2 power outputs. This would enable an array of 3 of them with 4 cables: one power input and 3 display. Please make is with a matte finish. I really want the ability to stuff 6 goood 18 inch 2560x1600 monitors into a small suitcase and be able to deploy it anywhere I have a table in a couple of minutes, using a couple of sockets. For now I'm using 2 500 nits 18 inch 2560x1600 monitors with a case and some 3D printed corners to have 3 18 inch 2560x1600 monitors in my backpack. Combined with a 14 inch laptop with a mount for the top of my Asus Scar 18's monitor.

Wanted to drop a comment to maybe help anyone on the fence. I did a ton of research watching videos and reading but you honestly have to see these in person to make your decision. I bought this 39” OLED, 42” LG C3 OLED and Samsung OLED G8 34”. The LG 39” was very responsive and smooth and was beautiful but to me the 800R curve was way too aggressive. If you are sensitive in any way to vision concerns when it comes to watching monitors this might also apply to you. If it wasn’t for the 800R curve I would have kept it, even though it should have been higher resolution. The text on the 39” wasn’t very good but wasn’t the main dealbreaker for me. The coating was fine as well. I ended up with the Samsung 34” G8 which has less of a curve and just as good but better clarity. It has the height of a 27” and coming from a 32” Dell 3222DGM, it feels skinny and not tall enough. I think the ultimate monitor is probably a 38-39 OLED with less of a curve but they don’t exist. This would make it the height of a 32” which I love but also give me the wider view which I also have grown to like. The LG 39GS is still a really good monitor and I wanted to love it and keep it but I couldn’t get over what it was doing to my vision and having to sit so close for the curve to work made me nauseous. Anyway thanks so much for the review and your videos! They help us a lot

Agreed, I have a mate with the 45" Ultragear with a 800R and its very clearly too aggressive. It annoys me LG went this route eliminating probably 50% of potential buyers. I am quietly waiting for a less stupid 1200 - 1800R models.

My monitor stopped working after barely 3 weeks. It powers on and laptop detects a second screen but screen is just black. Sad

You should have played the same games on ps5 it would have given us a better idea how vrr performs in faster paced games and if there is noticeable flicker

Are you able to manually enable the 480 hz with a different resolution on nividia control panel or any other application? Or is it only a preset on the monitor stuck at 1080p?

Not. I’ve had 3 break within 2 weeks of installation. My fiancé has had 4 do so. We are NOT hard on our phones.

Yes, but with a new anti glare coating. Kinda sits in middle of matte and glossy, but doesn't look smeared.

I’m impressed with the AERO 🔥 I think if you’re going to horizontally mount it, the ROG STRIX is so much better, but both of them vertically is a harder choice given the difference in price.

Hello, I am currently using gigabyte m28u 4k 144hz IPS and I like the G6 OLED model, but can switching from 4k ips to 2k'oled screen be a disadvantage for me in terms of image quality and text, clarity quality? Do you think I regret switching to 2k screen, do I feel the lack of resolution? 50% video and work, 50% play games.

yes, I switched from a 4k 160hz and regretted it, I sold it and got the 4k again, now I'm waiting for LG's 4k 240hz to drop in price to make the change to the OLED again

What about 8 bit?! You left the monitor at 8 bit, if you enable 10 bit how much, if any, of refresh rate you'll lose?
