G'day from England. Loving this series. A lot of skills and crafts are being lost here too.

I was was shown how to lead lighting back in the 1980’s by a lovely guy Fred Blom 7:40 who started his career after WW2 in Holland restoring church windows. I really must get back into it now I’ve retired and have the time. Thank you for this video it has fired my enthusiasm.

I bet Fred would have had some very interesting stories to tell! Keep us updated, if you do get back into it

Awesome of you to find the proper owner and return the ring! I have found several rings that were lost for couples that had an idea where they lost them. But I have yet to find anything that I randomly found that I could return to someone. Great video.

Thanks Ronald, I'm sure you understand the great feeling of returning lost wedding rings! The owners happiness is priceless!

Excellent video. Nice commentary on the Ethics as well as Legalities. The hobby of finding lost items of sentimental value is doubly rewarded when 'out of the blue' an owner is reunited with a valuable item. Many thanks. Cheers from Michael. Australia.

Actually several nsw national parks have veen developed, bulldozed etc. In vic you can prospect in a number of national parks and heritage parks etc. there is a list. Cemetaries only applies to current registered cemeteries. State forests in vic are open to all, no permits... But ANY gold prospecting, anywhere , including on private land, requires a miners right. Beaches below the high water mark are not owned my any local government in Aus so local rules do noy apply - it's state land.

One little trick I picked up few yrs ago with detecting and looking for bottles was how good droughts can be for looking for treasures ❤few yrs back say 5 near it was bad out west nsw , I could see so far into the scrub I saw so many signs of life that took me back to find good bottles no one ever found due to grass 🎉
