Why did he cheat the 6 minute run instead of the 56 one
@riluna369522 сағат бұрын
A lot of people in the comments are pointing out how beating a TAS-only level is an even crazier feat than they were anticipating, and I most definitely agree, but that kinda goes to show the true tragedy of this situation. In the wake of the reveal of the cheated level, the hype of the moment was lost, and so when something truly insane happened, it made a comparatively tiny splash. Our feelings before a situation affect things far more than most people think possible. Go into an amazing event disappointed, and you'll miss a lot of that amazing feeling. Go into something vaguely interesting hyped up to the limits, and you're going to think it's the coolest thing ever. Understanding this effect, in your life and the lives of those around you, can really help you back up and get proper perspective when necessary....or lean all the way in and just have a huge amount of fun with something silly :P Understanding Psychology makes the worst bearable and the best even better. I recommend it.

Badabun is a complete garbage channel and his original CEO was fired under serious and terrible shit that he and some of his employees were doing in the shadows. They are having a HUGE loss of views, and they deserved it.

I never realized how simplified and streamlined the Game Boy version was. There's a lot more movement options there, which makes the game as a whole far easier. But I guess that makes sense, since that one is much more focused on having a large variety of levels to traverse through.

Is there a full list of all Wi U levels made anywhere? I know I had a few myself and I'd be kind of amused to know that they were part of the Team 0% list. A few were admittedly troll-y but not quite kaizo.

I just have to say the name of the level is perfect for later commentary. "Trimming the herbs is insanely difficult", "Yoshi invested dozens of hours into trimming the herbs" lmao

Good video. Sanyx should've gotten a ton more praise for what he was able to accomplish. I don't think you fully understand the difficulty of that Tas'd level. Even if you don't understand the difficulty, it kind of speaks for itself and that should've been something to celebrate or mention just a tid bit more

i dont understand the problem here. The level was beaten by a legit player...

"in 2017 we didn't have the ability to do that on the wiiu" Yes we had. In 2017, you could install a CFW on wiiu (mocha, for instance), and use homebrews to do exactly that.

On the grand spectrum of evil occurring in gaming, I'm not sure this merits such a public take-down? Also the level was eventually beat by a human and the creator confessed. I love your usual videos because I feel that you choose your villains carefully, but this feels like something you created for content. I'm disappointed in you Karl.

What I don't get is why everyone is completely on faith assuming that the "actual" clear of this level was legitimate. There was no face cam, no hand cam and shortly before "beating" the level the guy randomly started to mess with OBS settings and put up a screen showing recursive OBS inception and then like after randomly pausing the stream for several minutes 2 or 3 tries later he "beat" the level, this is after hours upon hours of runs where he wasn't even able to get passed the first half of the level and then all the sudden like magic - pause stream, distract viewers for a few minutes, come back and then effortlessly beat the level. I mean, we already know that TAS tools work for this game so all of that really seems kinda SUS to me.

Watched Abyssoft's video on this already, but I am now wondering if given enough time, if someone could eventually have beaten Trimming the Herb. Probably not, but a lot of stuff in gaming gets beaten by players that were thought of as "impossible" or nearly so, but they still happen. Edit: Nvm, someone actually did it. Didn't know that.

I'm not very good at these sorts of games but I was so happy and enjoyed it so much when I finally beat jump king. It did take me just shy of a while 24 hours of gametime though. Its really fun, I'd recommended it to anyone.

I actually have seen speeds in my own typing averaging infinite characters per whatever time period you want. In the single instant of my first key press I get 1 character instantaneously averaging infinite speed.

star forge is amazing, friend from work recommended and they can build anything u want for a good price, even top grade builds that can run games like mw3 at nearly 300 fps xD, even the cheaper options under $1000 can run most games over 120 fps.

Not your best video. As many other comments said, there is very little ill intent and calling Ahoyo a cheater is a stretch. And the narrative could have been a positive one (THEY BEAT AN IMPOSSIBLE LEVEL) instead of a negative one, but I guess the algorithm prefers drama over positive news. Damn KZbin is a bitch to manage.

Isn't the entire concept of Team 0% fkn stupid? If the levels are already uploaded to super Mario Maker wouldn't that automatically mean they've already been completed at least once?
@notmyopinion4981Күн бұрын
really dont get the big deal... when you say 'cheated' it sounds like he took something from others. he didn't. He created a banger hard level. I buy his story that noone seemed to care about this level so he didn't tell anyone that he used a TAS. And at the end he did come clean. I don't see the big deal honestly. The only thing taking away from the victory of the guy who beat it, is your framing of the story.

What does it mean "Too difficult for 2017?" Did players suddenly evolved? Or its about some tech that allowed to see how levels work?
@garethmoores4168Күн бұрын
Does it really matter? Nobody cared about the level until they all wanted to complete it so who cares if he did what he did? It's just a game at the end of the day so why all the fuss and hassle? There's a real world out there go live in it instead of getting so worked up about a homemade Mario level....? Just a thought ❤

Team 0% should of been hyping Up that they Beat a "Cheated" level. The Maker Cheated. Ok thats not cool. But to Legitimately Beat a "Cheated" Lv thats is to me bigger then beat All lvs
@mspoints4fre123Күн бұрын
Honestly this "cheater" is not the same type of villain you make others out to be. He was honestly just a young kid who wanted to see if something like this was even possible and had no idea at the time it would prevent people from completing some goal years later.

I think it is still very impressive that a level was so hard to beat that it requires TAS inputs to make it happen, and then someone actually managed to beat it legitimately. That by itself is a huge achievement in my opinion.

If I were Ahoyo, I wouldn't have told anyone about the cheating. It was beautiful seeing everyone together trying to beat that level. Revealing the level was TAS'd poured cold water over everyone, especially because someone was about to beat it.
