Peri menopause has caused so much inflammation I can’t exercise, I am in bed for days after. I can’t eat sugar, drink alcohol or eat most foods. My blood sugars hate it. A still put weight on 🥲 46 and rapid ageing set in a few years ago along with peri menopause….eating makes me feel sick and fatigued. My blood work is fine .

I’m 33 TTC #2 it’s been 12 months and nothing yet I suspect insulin resistance is the culprit I have gotten skin tags under my arms … I’ve been ADF for about 3 weeks now and it’s day one of my 25-26 day cycle I have been eating whatever I want including processed sugar on my feast days what protocol should I do? I’m not hungry and I’m at my 36 hour mark now I can do longer honestly.

I just tried this drink, and I loved the taste. However, after about 10-15 minutes, I got extremely nauseated and thought I was going to vomit. I might have used too much of the ingredients. Please post the recipe with measurements. Thank you so much.

Do you think umbilical hernias have anything to do with lack of circulation to feet also? I have one and have cracked feet. I’d like to get it fixed but I also don’t like hospitals so I’m avoiding it. 😞 I also had an infection almost a year ago and had a fever for two weeks. They did every single blood test under the sun (that the hospital could do anyway) and had infectious disease involved. Only thing they could tell me is that my liver enzymes were high. I’m going to get blood work done soon. I don’t have a gallbladder either. I’ve been holistically minded for ten years but it seems like since I got my gallbladder out and had my miscarriage after was when I saw more issues. I started your reset five days ago and praying for change. I also preordered your cookbook. I’m so excited!

PSA, taking walks in overgrown grass mid-late summer can contract chiggers. They're small get into the ankles legs, and they're terrible, learned first hand this past wknd. 😢 My family has been incorpating hikes into our wknds its been great for our family time with teenagers. We're lucky to live by the beach, but my kids prefer to do something new so we've gone to the trails here in NJ and neighboring states. Ive noticed just by looking out the window at open space is also therapeutic, esp during the workday.

Hey, Dr. Mindy. Have you thought about interviewing Jessie Inchauspe (The Glucose Goddess), so that women who are building hormones with higher carb days can avoid getting glucose/insulin spikes? Her 10 hacks are miraculous! They all work, so people can pick and choose which one(s) are doable for themselves.
Thanks! I will share this with a friend who’s been feeling unusually tired lately.

Thank you for sharing such important information. About two years ago, started asking my primary care physician about my swollen feet and ankles. She seemed unconcerned and suggested I cut back on my salt. The swelling never went away, and I felt that this was not normal, yet she still seemed unconcerned. I also complained to my cardiologist who assured me it was not a cardiac problem, she suggested cutting back on salt! I also asked for a referral to a vascular dr to mke sure it wasn't a ciculation problem. All checked out fine. About 6 months ago, I went to a dr of Chinese medicine for acupuncture, hoping it might relieve arthritis pain. He said yes, he could help my arthritis, but informed me that I had a much bigger problem. He stated that my liver and spleen were toxic which was causing my edema, and if I didn't do something about it, it would cause much bigger problems as time went by. Not one of the other dr's even mentioned it could be a liver problem ! He recommended intermittent fasting and gave me some herbal liver supplement that he made in his office by grinding and combining various herbs. I took his advise and herbs and quickly lost 10 lbs, likely water weight, and the swelling decreased. After a bit, the herbs seemed to cause me digestive issues, so I stopped, but continued the fasting. I asked my dr for some liver tests (blood & liver scan), but she was VERY skeptical of an acupunturists diagnosis. Well, the results of test were that they showed SEVERE NAFLD! None of the three dr's I consulted ever even mentioned my liver. I have lost faith in western medicine. I now follow a daily 16/8 fasting, cleaned up my diet and follow a Keto-ish (I cut my carbs way down to below 20 g a day, but haven't yet tried to tackle the math involved with full Keto). I have lost 17 lbs and the swelling is down substantially. The moral of the story is to be your own advocate and educate yourself. My next gol is to stop the 2 statins my drs insist I take even though right now my LDL reading is 42!! I feel I should start weaning myself off these, even against their recommendations, as as I am afraid of what this is doing to my liver....
