I get eastern koels where I live and it is my *favourite* sound. I love that there's a koel in botw. I've found that a lot of the bird sounds in the Faron region are sourced from Oceania, not just the kookaburra

I really liked the idea and initial impressions of Seek, especially given the areas I often walk don't have internet connection and Seek doesn't need one, but I find I end up pointing the camera around for ages trying to get it to actually identify something that should be really straightforward, for example I could not get Seek to identify a hazel tree even though I was getting the most crisp images of the stem and leaves, it kept saying it was birch family but not zeroing in on a species. I wouldn't mind it not being perfect, but when it can't get an Id you can't override it and say "I know what this is" and force it to add something to my list of observations, which means when I'm out walking the dog I end up standing there pointing my phone at a tree for ages trying to get it to register.
