I have a canvas satchel I wear on the motorcycle, I keep my phone, wallet and of course my reading glasses 😆 I remember buying it for a fancy dress costume as Indiana Jones in the early 90s, its lasted me for years

I wonder if the reason the sleeves were tapered down is cause when I was about 9 my parents gave me these leather cuffs that go over your wrist that protect your main arteries from getting punctured by sharp things also from rope burn when we're rolling those wrists with twisted hemp with a hondo I ain't very good at roping but I can I'm much better at riding and whoring drinking and shooting but anyway I'm getting off topic those cuffs have saved me from thorns rusty nails even a scorpion sting one time

My family were out west since 1836... It It should be acknowledged that Tucson, Arizona sided with the Confederacy, and the farthest Western battle of the War of Northern Aggression took place at Picacho Peak Arizona. The South was a lot more expansive than most think... But I am a Native of Southern AZ, and my grand parents told me about what it used to be like, before the illegals and Californians showed up.....

Us black powder guys use these satchels all the time. I like how now, at 67, the back pack that I use is huge and I pack all this gear for hunting. Heck, back in the day as a young man, all I used were my pockets. Ha.

As someone who never liked the tv show The Wild Wild West, the film of the same name gets my vote. I never liked that mixture of modern technology and the old west, James West was kind of a James Bond character, and his partner, for some reason, really disturbed me. On the other hand I loved the tv Kung Fu western with David Carradine which was a mixture of cultures, it also worked well in the film with Charles Bronson and Toshiro Mifune in Red Sun.

The thing that bugs me about western movie foibles is that Hollywood writers think everything in the old west happened concurrently. I saw one western where they had the Dalton Brothers riding with the James-Younger Gang. Apparently they were unaware that when the James Gang rode, the Daltons were elementary school age😂. Hollywood writers have no sense of history. In Santa Fe Trail, starring Errol Flynn, the writers had JEB Stuart, George Custer, George Pickett, and James Longstreet ALL graduating from West Point TOGETHER! And apparently, according to Hollywood writers, U.S. Grant was president for the whole time period of the Old West!😂😂

Very awsomely interestingly informative video,I really liked and enjoyed it I got a lot about inspiration for my old west frontier and unfiction-internet horror creepypasta esqe new writting projects and I learned alot about satchels abd saddle bags in the old west frontier. The short micri fiction vingyette SceneStory Im working on writing today is set in a old cement brick fortress in the woods that I named The Black Spruce woods, which are considered to be haunted abd are located in the Alaskan Wilderness, the old fortress is known as Carpathia Blair Fort. The story follows a 17 year old Inuit American young man by the name of Lynkth and his friend Zurna, as well as some other individuals. In the story Lynkth and his commpanions encounter the ship RMS. Titanic and everyone aboard, that came through a mysterious time anomaly from the year 1912, while near a woodland lake by the old woodland fort.
