My favourite! Best song ever! We all teared up with this song. Love your reactions with Jeff Lynne’s’ ELO. . You must react to Eldorado! Can’t wait to see them on July 10,2025 in Manchester, UK.

This is the best Yes lineup. Jon Anderson on vocals, Bill Bruford (with an oo sound) on drums, Rick Wakeman on the keyboards, Steve Howe on lead guitar, and Chris Squire on bass. Funny thing about Wakeman, before he joined Yes, he was a studio musician. He did a session gig on a tune called "Life on Mars?" by another guy you might have heard of named David Bowie. This song is about the Shackleton expedition to the South Pole.

Genesis yes Pink Floyd ELP they were absolute masters of the long songs now I want to make one thing clear for me genesis yes pink floyd and elp are all equal i will never ever say that one band is better than the other i fell in love with Genesis back in 1973 when I went to see them live for the first time i was only 14 i was gob smacked the hairs on the back of my neck stood up i was totally mesmerised with what I was seeing all these musicians from all these bands are and were genius a big mention to greg lake Keith emerson Chris squire R.I.P so sadly missed this is the music that I fell in love with back then as a 14 year old kid and it sounds as good today as it did back in the wonderful magical seventies

I still listen to this music 50 years later. I'll probably still listen to it 50 more years from now. That is, if I'm still alive.

The amazing thing is there are only two channels of vibrations entering one's ears but in one's mind one is conscious of many distinct sounds.

The part at 10:50 is crazy shit. Amazing. It’s the opposite of commercial/mainstream. They do whatever they want.

Listening to Yes from that era is like getting caught up in a maelstrom. You have no idea where it's going. You just set aside expectations and ride with it.

Probably my favourite album. Phil's drumming is absolutely core to it. Selling England uses lots of English myth etc in mourning what modern commercialisation (they reference the then new growth of supermarkets as the most obvious example) was doing to Britain's communities.

Tears in my eyes. First album I ever bought . Tears .. because of all that was and all that is … the texture of all the ‘in between’ of my years. All 58 years of them.

To understand the lyrics, you would have to have watched the TV show. It’s a very astute song to my generation growing up with Rush and the Twilight Zone reruns.

Tony iommi (eye-OWE-me), the lead guitarist and music writer. It's not about addiction. It's about mental illness like megalomania, and schizophrenia, which is actually mentioned in the song.

"Sudden hush across the water, and we're here again" Amazing lyrics. All The Cure's albums you can listen to start to end and you will replay it again. No bad songs. Robert Smith is a genius.

It's a shame you have stopped reacting josh. There are many reactors out there, but very few are true music lovers. Your love of good music is written all over your face when you react. Give some thought to doing it again. 👍🏻
