Okay so I know the Gravity Feature is a fucking joke and all that but I feel like it presents the answer to a question _no one asked:_ "Why come Samus keep ditchin' Gravity Suit?" We know from the context of this game and Fusion that Samus' arsenal in this game is the exact same stuff she picked up in Super, and we also know that the SA-X, from both a lore and narrative perspective, is a manifestation of Samus at her absolute peak. And yet she's wearing Varia. Or is she? Consider that by all conceivable metrics, the Gravity Feature _must_ be the same upgrade as Super's Gravity Suit. Consider that from Samus' perspective, the fight's over. Metroids are extinct, the Space Pirates are gone, Ridley's finally staying in the metaphorical dirt. Consider that when you finally absorb the SA-X in Fusion, your suit immediately reverts to classic Varia colors despite still having Gravity. I can only come to one conclusion: *GAME THEORY: SAMUS HARD-MODDED HER GRAVITY SUIT TO DISABLE ITS VISUALS.* Why? I don't fucking know! Maybe she just doesn't like purple/magenta???

this dread varia suit is sweet its like a bled of the typical varia mixed with organic hints like the fusion suit though I'll always be a sucker for the usual varia suits (best example prime/prime remastered) this one is neat

I disagree with most of this video so bringing up every issue here is overkill (that would need an hour long discussion instead), but one of the biggest offenders is the take that it's bad to design a character to be sexy if that character's personality doesn't revolve around sex. Finding characters hot is fine but intently making characters hot is a problem? That's just nonsense. However, your alternative design for Samus is pretty good. You really didn't have to try and make out the original Zero Suit design to be objectively bad with such faulty reasoning. Your vision can stand on its own.

I think we're going to get a trilogy remastered. This is because the canonical story of Metroid Prime is the updated later version which does NOT specify Metroid Prime as a worm. Also, there are specific parts of the updated version that's NOT in the Remastered, e.g. being able to get additional information upon scanning the Chozo Artifacts..

Personally, I liked the version of the Varia suit we see in the flashback. It was a perfect blend of organic and metal components. It was what I originally pictured her Fusion Suit would look like after reabsorbing the SA-X and regaining the original Varia Suit's components at the end of Fusion (instead of just an orange recolor if the Fusion Suit) And then they go and destroy that design five minutes in. Not a fan of the green nodes on the shoulders. They were cool with the blue/white base suit, but I don't like how they kept them for every one of her suits in Dread.

If they make it a cross release, I hope that the enhancements are either built into the cartridge and will activate on Switch 2, or there will at least be an update exclusive to Switch 2. I also LOVE the way her suit looks now.

I can see this suit becoming the next "ultimate suit" like the gravity suit was. The fact you can't use missiles in it though makes it gimmicky like the zero suit in zero mission.

ngl, huge missed opportunity to have had the Medroid dread fusion suit in the HD remaster of Metroid prime.
