Ditch the leather cement and get heat activated glue. Use a hat press. You will get much more uniform adhesion.

Thanks for the great video with the great tips. ❤ Also your test print is really cool. I also print a small test print with the Bambu A1 Mini after changing the filament to dual-color, so that I can estimate the color gradient well before printing. I also designed something on Makerworld, if anyone can use it. The name is: Dual-Color Dial. The big advantage is the short print time of ~18 min and the design in the shape of BambuLab print bed, so you doesn't loose the orientation after you remove the dial from the build plate.

Greatly appreciated, sir! I'm about to change my FEP for the first time, and this makes it look really easy! I'm hoping I can find an Android app that works as well as the one you're using.

Quindi se ho capito bene, la ricottura non è un pretrattamento ma una incisione fuori fuoco di 5 mm, esatto? Inoltre che parametri hai usato, in base alla tua macchina? Complimenti per il video.

Super precise bubble level. Machinists use it. Then you use your eyeball to make sure the bubble is in the center. Lol. I work in the aerospace/defense industry, and if your using your eye to check a level, no matter how much that level cost....trying to eye the bubble being in the center of the bubble...is lol. Machinists don't use bubbles to level their equipment.

Yeah...I get it. Glowforge is cool - but if you have an OUNCE of patience, and are willing to learn how these machines work - you can buy 2 or 3 OMTechs for the price of a Glowforge, and not rely on their cloud system...and run circles around the them.

Great video! I figured out dark black annealing on my fiber without defocusing the lens. 8 watts of power. Line space .02mm. 100khz frequency. 100 mm/s. Thats with a 175mm work area lens.

you could have designed it in Lightburn. Then make your circle a cut and the text a fill. So much easier than going back and forth to illustrator.

@3dprintfarm Do you know how to change color of filament on bottom and top ? When using dual color
@1990ALECRAM3 ай бұрын
You will have to print the model sideways. I thinkyou are better off getting tansitioning filament. But because it translsitions you don't have as much control over it.

Print one of these out for your filament, and glue it to your filament spool for ALL future references.

Both hats are similar because they are made in the same factory. One or the other has given instruction on how the hat is too be constructed. To be honest the yupoong in my opinion is a far better hat. However the customer wants what the cust wants.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have a Xtool D1 pro 20W laser and want to make some patches. I will be using the Weaver Supply Red Rock Waxy Pull up leather you are using as well. Do you have a recommendation on Laser engrave and cut settings for this? This is my first project with the laser :) Thanks so much!
