Thanks for the dryer sheet tip. I've also used a camera anti-static brush to go over the items to paint. As you said, keeping the booth clean is also critical.

Great video. I’m my opinion, the only function of that style paint “booth” has, is to collect the overspray and filter/ direct it outside. It offers little to no dust protection while painting, in fact, as it’s a suction, it’s drawing dust from the area into/ across the model being sprayed. Any dust or lint on your person is trouble as well. So any precautions, like wetting down the area, maybe yourself, would help. A big plant mister bottle works great. When I’ve sprayed even full size car parts, in less desirable conditions, I’ve worn a tyvec suit, and wetted the area with a pump garden sprayer. Every little bit helps.

Don't paint in a cutoff t shirt or tank top. Your deodorant can cause fisheyes. Our painter did. Blamed everybody in the shop for his issue. Cotton shirts give off alot of fibers too.

Hey i have this booth but my dog chewed the power cable and i was an idiot and didnt take a picture of the label before throwing it out. If you still have this booth, can you please let me know what ac adapter I'd need to purchase to safely power it again?

One could just spray paint the walls before actually painting your cars.
