I can’t phantom how much this product has really got my attention with all these incredible new features for musicians and artist alike to be able to express one’s self and so many other ways.🫡 My studio one journey began with a quantum 2626 just over a year ago. I came from an Apollo twin, which served me very well and was paired with Cubase. I now have a Quantum HD8 paired With Studio One Pro Seven..🫡🫡🫡 I would consider myself future proof at this point. Great job guys!

I had PreSonus one 6 pro and up graded to 7 pro. There are a lot of issues that have been addressed. It is a lot easier to keep it moving. Love splice tons of ideas. It might not have what i want but it gave me a great idea how to move on. Bayarea rap artist approved.

This is completely irrelevant to the conversation, but DJ Jazzy Jeff is a hero of mine. I'm a metal guy, but my first musical interest as a kid was DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. This was before the popular TV show was a thing. Will's rapping was cool and all, but it was the music that really inspired me, so I always thought Jeff was extra cool. Later in life I fell in love with guitars and rock music and things just kinda went darker and heavier from there, but man, Jeff will always be a hero of mine. I'm glad to see that he's still immersed in this world of music making. To think all these years later I'd be doing a similar thing to DJ Jazzy Jeff, and even using some of the same tools. How cool is that?

That's just another way to learn. You can also find your own style and sound by knowing what other people do. Just don't do it.

I hope Presonus update the Inspector window and how it anchors certain properties. I feel I’m always scrolling up & down to find things, and it’s always a struggle to keep fader sizing the same between audio & instrument tracks Apart from that the new updates are 🔥🔥🔥

As a Pro One 6.5 user, I'm way more interested in what fixes and user suggested features in the forums made it into this release. If a good portion made it in, that would probably be enough to get me to upgrade. But adding brand-new features while older, much needed user requested features get ignored would be a big disappointment. I would love to see a list of improvements to the Track View, PRV and Console, along with new, user-customizable goodies Presonus gave all of us existing customers. Is there such a list?

If you want to access the whole sample library from Splice Yes, if you don't do it you still can use this feature as Splice give you free access to around 2500 samples.

I have the perpetual license (never go to a subscription) and upgraded to 7. I must say it is a game changer. So much for the better in this daw. I love the clip launcher and the loop extend option. Well done guys just always have a perpetual license and keep the cpu low and I will be happy.

Great question! You can try out the integration with 2500+ premium Splice sounds without a paid subscription. To unlock the full Splice library, however, you simply need a either a Splice x Studio One Pro plan from Splice, or their Creator/Creator+ plan.

Guys @presonus may you please fix the stem export speed , sometimes it takes up to 3 to 4 hours to export less than 100 tracks .

Some people will complain about anything or everything; you can give them all the tools, and they will find a way to complain. If you can’t make music or audio production in 2024 because a DAW is missing a feature, don’t blame Presonus or Studio One; blame yourself for not being efficient and not having the skills to make you happy with your production. 🤷🏽‍♂

It’s not about whether you have the necessary skills to make music or not. When Presonus introduces a new version with new features, the main question for the consumer is, “Should I spend money?” Are these new features useful, and have they been well implemented? If not, then don’t we have the right to criticize Presonus? Especially after the last 10 years, during which I always paid for new versions and supported Presonus, I should at least be allowed to express my opinion. There are other DAWs on the market where you pay once and get all updates for free. Most people forget that.

Well, honestly? In my opinion, Splice is a bit over the top, because there are a lot of things that Splice can't do. Not yet? I can find loops that fit a song, but when new chords appear within songs, I can't do much with the sounds, because there doesn't seem to be any way to adapt them to the chords. I only use it to come up with ideas and use Splice's suggestions to recreate the sound myself and play the material I need myself, because then it fits the way I want it to. Many loops consist of more than one instrument, which doesn't make it any easier. When I first used it, I was surprised by the search results, which fit pretty well, but nothing really fits to create a whole song. Splice gives me ideas. However, the monthly price for Splice is quite high.

To be fair there is a chord follow function in studio one and it can actually adapt sound events to the chords

@@momoadept The problem with such tools is always that you can hear the pitch shift. It would be better if you could also find sounds that give you approximate settings for synthesizers, for example, so you can recreate the sound yourself and play the part yourself. The whole thing is not that easy, Splice is a good tool for finding ideas, but not for me anymore. I can't usually do anything with the vocal loops, they usually don't fit with my songs, especially since I'm going to do some in German. The best thing is still drum loops or bass (I can recreate those most easily). Synthesizers can also be recreated, but Slice's loops are often multi-instrumental.

There is less and less FUN of creating music. There's no more:' Man, I did EVERYTHING" MYSELF. It is taken away from the the REAL musicians out there. Next update: Hey Studio one produce me a song about..#####...while I am taking a nap. (And then saying " He dude, I just created an amazing track😂". Sure, my ass...guys. It took me a while to realize that Presonus is a joke. The first time i asked myself a question about the health of this development team was when they passed the Lead Architect to the subscription, then i wondered if these people are competent to develop S1 in the future. If you as a developer think that people don't deserve a synth in a new version and have to pay extra for it... that move was a big insult. Now i see that they didn't update the important functions just only expanded with Splice which is an external service, it can go away at any time and leave your daw without sounds... nother mistake. I remember when i was little and i went to school, it happens that I don't have my homework done... that shame. v7 comes with unfinished homework and the users are now the teachers.:(
