Wish I could find a pair of those leather protection sleeves! My 4 yr. old Maine Coon, (adopted from an elderly lady), is not nearly as calm as Jack. Good comb out, he looked lovely when done.

My kitty bear has matts in his back legs every summer but I managed to get them out last year with brush

I had a cat a year ago wandering up to my place that looks completely identical to Peanut. Only a male. I had suspected he was a Siberian. He could be Peanuts brother. He was matted completely and sick. I had to take him to my vet where he was shaved and treated. I wish I could groom him myself. But now at least I’m keeping him brushed and trying to keep his fur in good shape.

That zoom groom is a tool that I have used on my horses 20 years, never found a animal that didn't love it!

I wish my 2 year old British blue was as good as he is for grooming. A groomer came yesterday and she hissed and swiped a few times so grooming couldn’t continue 😢😢

I adopted an adult ragdoll and had to do that. Poor baby had alot of mats down to the skin.

Thank You for the video.Simba and Ricky look alike.Ricky is 15 and spends a lot of time outside,and loves to be brushed.He has belly mats.I'll try using the multingcomb you show -a little at a time.We used to have to send his sister for a Lion-cut.She would get dreadlocks otherwise.My daughter clipped her longhair cat and he looks great.

How often do you recommend to comb such long hair so that it is maintained in a good condition? As I understood Teddy's hair wasn't comb for some long period of time? Maybe I missed this in video.
