Ridley really deserves to be the main antagonist of his own game His status as a blood thirsty leader of a planet conquering armada that killed Samus’ parents has far more story purpose than being some mid-boss who gets beaten once or twice and doesn’t make any significant impact to the plot after that point because I don’t think he’s EVER been the main antagonist

Piranha Plant is among my most enjoyed fighters in Ultimate. He was treated well in the alts department; each one has a solid reference, and he even has both of his colors from the original SMB. Nice, nice!

Imagine updates for more minions like playables, it would be crazy.

I’m disappointed there isn’t a colour based off of the Pale Piranha from Paper Mario: TTYD. Basically an inverse colour scheme to the bone Piranha Plant, but it works nicer imo.

That last one is a weird reference because they are meant to still be green in that game. When you play the Super Mario All-Stars version on the SNES, they are still Green in caves. The reason why it's blue in the cave is due to the fact that the NES can't handle enough colors at the same level or screen. It's the same reason why in the lost levels or Super Mario Bros 2 Japan there's a blue Bowser before a green Bowser because at that part of the castle level there's no green color but blue instead until they switch to the green palette when you get to the final Bowser. This is true I learned it from an extremely knowledgeable Mario player and speedrunner named Kosmic
