I have been in a TN lately and didn’t realize how much I’d miss the room in the a5!! I love the compact nature of the smaller than a5 sizes for carrying it but I get a bit stifled in the smaller sizes. Plus I am already over halfway thru my TN and I have only set up the yearly spreads, gone thru my October setup, and haven’t finished my November setup even!

I'm late but I would love a follow up to see what people did with their spaces and how they look after!

Late to the party, but if you paint the wall above the fireplace a dark or rich color, it will create an interesting "stack" by tying the fireplace and tv together. It will also integrate the black hole many tv's become when off into the space.

My boyfriend has ADHD and also struggles with cleaning and organization. We rearranged his living room some time ago and also included some trays and baskets to collect clutter. Now the sofa gets much more light, the plants are more accesible to take care of them and clutter is for the most part collected. Thank you for showing people's reality and for working around they way they function, not against it <3

As far as I know, no matter what you do, you'll burn the same amount of calories each day eventually. Your body makes an adjustment. The "problem" is when you eat way more or way less than that amount. Usually more. The real problem is IT IS HARD TO FIND YOUR WAY. You're listening to someone, who makes all the sense in the world, but it is not working for you. It is like organizing your house. If you can't do it on your own, if it is an issue, you need to listen to a variety of opinion in order to find your way. You can also take a professional person that you'll tell him/her what is your goal, what is important to you, and this person will tell you exactly what to do in order to get there. So, you need time, and makes it a priority and most important: to love yourself. Thank you for made me think.

For the first space I think a great idea to hide the water heater unit is to hang a plant (fake or real) to the ceiling either in front of the unit or near it. That way your eyes goes to the ceiling and creates the illusion of a bigger space and hides the unit.

Beds use to be a reasonable height. Now box spring are really thick, making for a very high bed. I personally have to use a little stool to get up on my bed now, as I have gotten older. I think that is why people started having chairs, couches at the end of the bed. You can sit down and put your socks and shoes on there. Hahaha!
