I take it as a internal monologue rather than an interruption, as if SS just dozes off mid-conversation. I have a headcannon now, where male SS has SEVERE ADHD, and ZERO patience with yappers. Sarcastic Jerk is the way for me. If it was an actual interruption, they'd say something about it...
